HBO's Generation Kill

Post by War Wagon »

Was really looking forward to this, but the first episode left me underwhelmed. Sure, there's some decent character develpment... who hasn't run into an a-hole like that sargent major... and the plot seems to be thickeneing... maybe it'll heat up over the next few weeks.

Hell, I don't know. Maybe some of you guys liked it. For the most part though, it looks like a reprise of Jarhead. I guess there's nothing all that glamorous about desert warfare.

Writing for Hustler would be pretty fresh.

Last night, found out the smartass, mouthy Humvee driver is from Nevada, Missouri, and his mom works at Wal-Mart. Must actually be from the National Guard

Here's to hoping the next bullet thru the windshield doesn't miss.
