I believe he was sitting for a portrait by John Kennedy Toole, when JKT up and croaked.

I like Shaz, but I don't think he ever fully recovered from 2001.
We had some great, and semi vicious, back and forths throughout that whole year, but he's never posted much since the outcomes of the BCS games that year.

Shazzer was one of the regulars in our fantasy baseball league for a while. I know he worked with young kids at summer camps and stuff. His mom died if I remember correctly and he had a meltdown on the boards and went away for a while but came back for a short period of time. The dude was a huge corn fan and could justify any argument with manipulaitng numbers. I wish him well wherever he is.

Shaz ran out of food and ate himself.

He must have been a Hot Dog.
