I'd say cancelling customers' policies retroactively after they file a claim is a pretty good example of "Insurance Company rules". Whether you're in favor of a government run system or whatever, you've gotta admit that that kind of bullshit is...well... bullshit.

Huge props to the pilots for their handling of that situation. That's why those guys make the big money and get so much simulator time.
I was shocked to see some people still wearing their 02 masks even as the plane landed. The system isn't even operable below 8K and is completely useless below 15K. Props also to Boeing. Not that you ever want to see into a plane while it is flying, but if something is going to go wrong, I would much prefer to be in a Boeing than an Airbus.
