Taj Mahal

Post by RumpleForeskin »

I had heard of him, but never really listened to his music.

I was blown away. Dude is one bad mofo with his blues style. I listened to Queen Bee and My Girl Josephine the other night. Fucking awesome.

I think all of his tracks are untitled in my music files from an External HD copy I made over from a friend's hard drive. I need to sniff these tunes out and get them on the Ipod. Bad ass music.

He must have a girlfriend in State College. He's played there bunches of times over the years. He's really great.

I'd heard of the band or artist known as Taj Mahal but never heard what it was until I saw the Rolling Stones Rock 'N Roll Circus. He plays a song in that show (Ain't That A Lot of Love) and I immediately went out and looked for more. I picked up a greatest hits the first chance I could...I love his version of Statesboro Blues.
