It's been an unusually wet spring and summer this side of Lake Erie. The area is more verdant than any summer I can remember since 1989.

We now know why Dinsdale spends a lot of his time wandering around in a cornfield...looking for pussy. Psst Dins, she's over at the barn.

Vast amounts of lush greenery as far as the eyes can see up here...because that's how the U&MW rolls...

Hmmmm...I'll mention this "river" thing to our ag guys. They might be aware of some rivers around these parts that they could utilize.

Go ahead and throw in inpoundments, dams, ponds and wells. Capture the water when you have a lot of it, then pump it on to your crops. Novel idea

The connecticut river usual looks kinda tired this time of year, but, it is damn near out of it's banks. Maybe we can fed ex you some aqua.

Same - Haven't even thought about turning the sprinklers on this summer - I don't think we've gone more than 5 days without rain since March

Yep, and where as normally my has lawn has gone dormant by now, I've had to be out there mowing almost every 3rd day. :brad:

Sure can't complain about the cool temps we've been having the past several days, though. Can't say as I remember an August as mild. Usually, the heat and humidity are brutal this time of year.

Damn right. Just a few weeks ago the westside of Rochester was looking like Houston after a tropical storm.
