CBS is bringing back Hawaii Five-O. No, it's not a remake but a next generation of sorts where Steve McGarrett's son Chris now runs the department. The show was one of my favorites and I'm glad a true fan of the series is seated at the helm.

i'm always skeptical, but i used to love 5-0 in syndication on the UHF in Oklahoma. i was working at Norman's campus corner Lovelight Bakery, grabbing 2 for 1 draft beers at Brother's next door after work, having a very excellent summer with the girlies and watching 5-0 at nights.
