i've started watching this famous Brit TV series. It's pretty cheeky but very fun on the dystopia, totally administered society thing. some of the special effects are very Star Trek....but rack it. and Patrick McGoohan who apparently turned down roles to be 1. Gandalf in LOTR 2. Bond (inna day) 3. Someone important in the Harry Potter series....and prefers to drink whisky on the beach in SoCal these days.
Simpsons Season XII (2000) has a send up of the Prisoner...."the computer wore menace shoes".
supposedly, Christopher Nolan of Dark Knight fame is in the works for a Prisoner remake.
