For some reason my cable package comes with CBS Classic. Pretty much "classic" SEC football games 24/7. It seems cool enough I guess, but if I really want to watch meatgrinding I'll flip on the Food Network.

I don't mind getting good coverage of most of the conferences, though. Of course we get a steady diet of SEC and ACC, but I definitely watch some of the Big 10 games on ESPN. On Fox Sports South, we get a few Big 12 games late afternoon/early evening, and we almost always get to watch Pac 10 games at night.

Nothing beats a rainy day, beer, and football from 12pm-2am.

I've heard, although I can't say this for certain, that certain NBC affiliates in the South will bump ND football for the Jefferson-Pilot SEC game of the week. Now, since the Meatgrinder has a national contract with CBS, and the WWL also picks up some of your games, I'm guessing this game is way down the importance meter, somewhere along the line of Kentucky-Mississippi State or thereabouts.

Any truth to the rumor I heard?

No I have been watching college football. BigXII usually has one or two a week on FSN. SEC has CBS and a weekly fox game in sec areas. ND has NBC. Big 10 has the Big 10 network. ACC has a weekly game on fox in acc areas. Everyone has games on ABC or ESPN.

Please someone chime in if that isnt common knowledge in College Football besides the Jefferson Pilot ACC/SEC games in certain areas.

Of course, with your team turning into a vivid pile of horse-cum over the last few years, I guess you've got nothing better to do than to keep up with what networks cover what conferences.

Don't know a thing about it, but it wouldn't surprise me. No offense to your school, but NOBODY down here watches the ND games. It'd be like showing a weekly Ga. Why is leaking their schedule a big deal...it's the same games every year pretty much. When they show only one conference, there isn't that much variety in what games they show. The SEC is a competitive conference...some may call it a meat grinder. It's entertaining to watch as much as we like to make fun of it. The Georgia-Florida-LSU triangle of games will be must see.
