i thought Mark Sanchez was going to be a Stud QB, out of high school, seen him in the Cali vs Tejas highschool all-star game. He looked like the real deal, although still early, he looks like he could be another of the real good USC college QB's.
And that LB they have is a monster.
Al has to be on the hot seat at Virginia, Losing to USC isnt the problem, not putting up even a fight is the problem. Then add in the real bad losses they have had under his reign.

i've switched over a couple times to this game and seen 2 SC TD's and sack of the UVA QB in about 6 total plays. appears to be a good sample.
adel, is there anything up with Missouri wearing special unis today or just the samo samo gold pants jokes at tigerboard?

Pinkel said to wear Gold, and it's the Gold rush game, so who knows. If anything, i think it could be a black jersey with gold pants game. OF course a 3rd helmet rumor has been floated out there. God i hope not.
so who knows, the Gold pants shit and the idiots over there have put a kibosh on me over there. the new look to the board is horrible and the posters are mix of Jonsense-ballsucking homer-m2ool.

lost some OL, but the kids will do just fine, actually better players than the ones who graduated, only difference is game experience.
WR depth is probably strongest ever. If Perry has a breakout year, it could be a very good group.
TE, although they lost Rucker, they are better than last year. Coffman has been often injured, but Andrew Jones(true freshman) is a perfect fit for the system. he will be a break out player for Mizzou along with the RB washington.
i never know what to expect to start the season. after first game i'll know what this team can do.
if they have a chance at a title, it will be the defense who makes the plays to get them there.

Yes - you know how much I hate them. They've got a well-paid bunch of guys this year!

Yes they're good and everyone knows it but UVA is a mess.

UVA v. UCLA or ND might be a good game.

We are in the process of rebuilding. All I'm looking for is improvement week to week, something that was non-existent with the prior regime....

I talked to Bacey about Mizzou. He said y'all lost a little on the OL and a WR or two, but if you guys play like you did last year - you're going to kick ass. I've sort of got Mizzou as my dark house this year - to maybe make it to THE game.
I know there's the OU factor, but I think y'all can beat them this year. You've got the payback thing from last year going on.
I think Chase has a great shot at the Heisman this year as well...
From what I saw of Misery last night I have no worries. They have that much problem with Illinois on D against the spread what are they going to do against Oklahoma running it with a no huddle
all game long. I'm more confident in OU's chances not less.

We have nothing upon which to gage OU, yet.
Mizzou played a rivarly game against a BCS team and whipped their ass on a neutral field.
OU played who, again?
Btw, USC made UVA look like a fucking 8-man high school team. Impressive. By far the most impressive ass-kicking of Week 1. And 'spray, I'll see your hate and raise you two temper tantrums.

Juice Williams has horrible accuracy and Illinois is not a very strong receiving corp. Mizzou made them look like the return of the 1988 49ers. I was basing my call on the performance of the same receivers, Oline, and quarterback from last season that have all returned for the Sooners. We do have something to go on considering there are 16 returning starters...

Seer, I know that you know that my post was directed to Lax and was for his benefit only. (He's such a fucking USC hater he can't help himself.)
In no way was it meant as a slap to any other bRuin or Notre Lame fan, or "their" team. Ok, maybe it was...but just a little.

you can fix blown coverages. which those were. and Stinkel wasnt afraid to throw those guys under the bus on "this week in MU football". every throw he pretty much called the safeties out for blowing the coverage and not giving help and being in another coverage instead of the correct coverage.
I know everyone loves Daniel, but in a close game vs a top opponent, he still tries to make way too many cutesy plays and ends up getting lucky or its an INT. they should of ran the bal lall night, instead its same fucking bullshit.
rush for 8 yards
pass incomplete
pass incomplete
punt
rush for 7
pass incomplete
pass incomlete
punt
and for christs sake, throw the ball down field. I called it last year, OU will bring people up and sit on those fucking outs and quick ins, and they get Int, deflected for an INT, or its a 2 yard completion. if you show you can throw the ball downfield, it opens up everything. fuck dink and donk passing.
when daniel was at SLC, he threw the ball downfield, bomb after bomb. he gets to MU and its 3 yard patterns al lday! argh
oh, and that 8 yards deep QB sneek. oh my, i could go on for hours

I didn't predict a national title! I said I am less worried about Misery. Which I am. I think Kansas could take them down as horrible as their defense was. The north may be more of a competition than Mizzou was expecting coming into the season. Kansas looked damn good Saturday although against a weak opponent. Texas' Oline looked much improved and they have to play them in Austin.
I'm not completely convinced that it's Mizzou that will representing the North. Still the favorites but no longer hands down in my book.
Sounds like Adel saw a lot of the same shit I was seeing... I wasn't basing anything on the Chat game. I was basing my thoughts strictly on the Misery performance.
