I wouldn't start burying the Colts...the Bears played a solid game. They will miss Jeff Saturday anchoring that line. I wouldn't panic in ColtLand...maybe the Bears aren't as bad as some expected. Forte had a very good debut. Orton wasn't anything to write home about but he didn't turn the ball over.

It was a pretty good day for the NFC versus the top teams in the AFC...Bears over Colts, Panthers over Chargers, Cowboys over Browns. Heck, seeing the Jags lose today was a surprise. I wouldn't read much into what happened today other than the Brady injury. The other AFC teams will bounce back...it's just one game.

I don't think it really has much to do with Manning. It's about Jeff Saturday being out. If you can collapse the pocket, you're going to have success against any QB.
Very true. One need only think back to the game Joey Porter had against the Colts during the 2005 season playoffs for evidence that even a healthy Manning with a full complement of skill position players can be held in check by a superior defensive effort.
