Rep. hacks need to stop melting over stupid shit.

No, I haven't gone to the turncoat card. It's just that I am honest enough to admit when my side is beng a stupid whiney cunt. Wish I could say the same about you hippie fag lefties.
Lipstick on a pig is a very common cliche. If you melt over it, you are in the same category as some nog taking offense to "black hole". Well, not quite that stupid, actually.
Then this morning I hear the talking heads on the republican fox news network giving biden shit about saying hillary would have been a better choice.
So fukking what.
Ofcourse she would have been a better choice as she would have pulled all the angry bulldykes that will now stay home or vote for McCain or go kayaking or something.
Then, as an afterthought they mention the real gaffe of the day. The one that makes Quayle look like Winston Churchill.
"Stand up, uhhh (whatever his name is) Uhhhhh, oh yeah, your fukking legs don't work. My bad!!"
He did make a rather smoove recovery, but, god damn dude. If a republican made that braindead of a statement, it would be reset from now until the end of time. Quayle made a common misspelling and they are still talking about it.

Politics is what it is.
The Bridge to Nowhere thing is funny.
We've all heard Palin emit some form of the following of late:
"I told Congress, thanks but no thanks on that bridge to nowhere"
Two problems:
-she was for it before...she
campaigned on it
-Alaska is
still wasting money on this:
http://news.bostonherald.com/news/2008/ ... osition=12
Meanwhile, Weinstein noted, the state is continuing to build a road on Gravina Island to an empty beach where the bridge would have gone - because federal money for the access road, unlike the bridge money, would have otherwise been returned to the federal government.
Got that? Alaska is STILL SPENDING THE BRIDGE MONEY on something completely useless...now simply to spend the money, rather than give it back to the feds.
Yet, is she modifying this message? So far, no. This could bite her and McCain in the ass.

I agree, most all of this is a bunch of noise.
Just let me know when and where I go to sign up for my free heath care.
And if sign-up interferes with my "Idol" watchin', there's gonna be hell to pay.
Get this shit done right.

I realize this was probably a typo, but there's quite an unintentionally funny double entendre there.

Out on the winding, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green.
You had a temper like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy.
How could you leave me,
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you. but I loved you, too.
Bad dreams in the night
You told me I was going to lose the fight,
Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights.
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I´m so cold,
let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I´m so cold,
let me in your window.
Ooh, it gets dark! It gets lonely,
On the other side from you.
I pine a lot. I find the lot
Falls through without you.
I'm coming back, love,
Cruel Heathcliff, my one dream,
My only master.
Too long I roamed in the night.
I'm coming back to his side, to put it right.
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering,
Wuthering Heights,
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I'm so cold,
let me in your window.
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I'm so cold,
let me in your window.
Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
You know it's me--Cathy!
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I´m so cold,
let me in your window
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I´m so cold,
let me in your window.
Heathcliff, it's me, I’m Cathy, I've come home and I'm so cold.

You might have a point, except for the timing and afterthoughts. Seriously, if someone mentions the word 'lipstick' would anyone think of Hillary, Pelosi or any other buttugly Dem broad? They threw that out right after Palin made the Pittbull joke on national TV. I'm sure there are plenty of community organizers in the US. Using that phrase probably has nothing to do with the Dalibama.
And then of course, the Obamessiah goes on to say that Sarah is the lipstick, and McCain is the pig. What you call melting, I see as beating these clowns about the head and shoulders with their own words.
To quote a phrase, politics ain't beanbag.

There's another cliche that fits this situation perfectly.
It starts out something like this:
If the shoe fits...

Reminds of Bush waving to Stevie Wonder.
Biden is a drunken loon and a liar, but I don't think he's mean spirited. He'll only get mean when you're in his way.

Here's the problem with your reasoning (word used very loosely).
McCain used the very same phrase to describe Hillary's health care plan, compared to the '93 health care plan. Obama used the phrase to describe McCain attempting to paint himself as the candidate of change, after he voted with Bush 90% of the time. It had nothing to do with Palin per se, except for the fact that she's on the ticket with McCain.

As opposed to Obamantion voting with Reid and Pelosi 97% of the time?

The Letterman interview says not only that it was personal, but deliberate.

Reid and Pelosi were in the minority until 1/07, so they could get very little done for the overwhelming majority of their time in Congress. So yes, that would be change.

So he voted for gridlock and obstructionism 97% of the time before voting with a do-nothing majority 97% of the time?
Awesome.
