You'll be saying the same thing when Skippy leaves. The only difference is Skippy will win at UCLA as opposed to Dorrell that sucked completely. But once he gets caught by the NCAA........it will set your program back 10 years. Cheaters never quit cheating. That's the only way they know how to win. You better just hope his "chance encounters" don't end up in the newspapers. He's going to completely fuck over your program, I promise you that. UCLA could have done a lot better. It's a shame they got so desperate to win so quickly that they sold their soul to the devil.

i thought it was a weird hire. there should be talent on the roster....Dorrell had top 25 type classes IIRC.

i was not impressed with Dorrell when he brought UCLA to Boulder several years ago. they come out in warmups running all kinds of far out sets and formations and throwing it all over the yard. big receivers who can run and Barnett had a very small set of db's and say to my buddies these guys are gonna light you up.

once the game starts, it was Woody Hayes play-calling.

atleast he had 1 seaso nthat was enjoyable to watch

that season with Jones-drew, they were down close to 20 pts in a 5-6 game stretch and won every own of them.

the UCLA late game on fox sports was always good watching

Wow, a Neuheisel biographer. Did you memorize my sig?

SuC & pom pom pete are in process of re-defining what "cheating" and breaking the rules are. It will be more difficult for the Pac to come down on programs for intrepretive envelope expansion....

A bigger risk will be Erickson at ASU. Or perhaps a desparate Stoops at Zona...

Neuheisel was young and dumb with a ton of pressure to succeed immediately. He knows how to coach and no place has a larger talent pool than So Cal. He is at his alma mater and no pressure to instantly win. Most fans merely want to see improvement as the season progresses...progresses with the 3rd string QB, 3rd string RB, absolutely no offensive line, new offensive game planning, etc. etc. etc....

A few recruits, a year or two of experience, some more sec cupcakes, all will be good......

leach would of been best hire, of those mentioned

his offense fits the Pac10. tonso offense, little defense.

atleast if you lose, they will have to score 50-60 to do it.

Dorrell was a decent recruiter and a decent human being, but just not a very good coach. Neuweasel, on the other hand, is Satan. Seer, you're a good guy and all, but I don't ever see myself rooting for the Gutties as long as that fucking worthless, dynasty-ruining prick is your head coach.* I just hope you guys can his ass before he gets you any major sanctions.

*Edit: Unless UCLA winds up in a bowl game against Nebraska, of course.

Mike, you get a pass for your Neu-hostility with Boulder's bruises still visible....Fortunately (I hope) for me all the Buffs & Huskies did was teach my coach a lesson. If, for some reason, Neuheisel manages to screw up by knowingly crossing some ncaa policy threshold, then NOBODY would be sympathetic, no more chances, etc. - which is why I cannot fathom him even spitting on a sidewalk in that direction....

No way. They are what they are. Coaches don't grow up in time. You learn morals and values when you're young. Coaches that cheat when they're young, cheat when they're old. Even after being caught 5 times. Why? Because they're not of high character. Being "young" was never Neuheisel's problem. Are you trying to tell me that Skippy didn't learn right from wrong as a child? He knew better, but he didn't care because he's of low moral character. That doesn't change. You are what you are. There's tons of examples of college coaches cheating, getting caught, getting fired, getting re-hired, cheating again, getting caught, etc.... How many places did Lou Holtz, Jim Harrick, Jerry Tarkanian, etc leave under NCAA investigation? Those guys never learned because they're scumbags. Getting older doesn't change who you are.

The problem UCLA is going to have is they are the school in town that the NCAA will come down on. USC is the top program in the country right now and so they won't do anything to them. Sure, that's unfair. But that's just the way it is.
