So this is ugly and will get even uglier now.
There are more bank failures on the horizon -
If you have over 100,000 in any financial institution - I suggest you start researching NOW to make sure your covered in case of colapse
here's a link where you can measure the stabilitiy of your bank -
If it's not 3 stars minimum - I'd suggest moving it to one that is:

I pulled everything out of my high and mid cap funds a couple of months ago. For right now I'll take my guaranteed 4.5% in a stable value fund and call it a day. Though I am continuing to buy new shares in my stock funds. Might as well buy low.

The Yankees have nothing to do with this. Nor does your mom, or little kids.
You can, by all means, however, kill yourself.

You mean like the Clintons...the Omuslims...the Bidens...the ones so in touch with the poor downtrodden depressed members of society that they pander to and offer reparations to( in exchange for that vote) to from the scourge of the awful Republicans?
So they can get elected and make millions like the Clintons ??
I can wait for Omuslim to get some poor white bitch to suck his cock in the Oval office and we can all hear about it...
Fucking hypocrite liberal scum...

So... what do we learn from all this bankking mess? Well, risk/reward is not in play any more. Go ahead and run a company with high risk because the worse thing that will happen is that you lose your job and get millions in compensation. There is no risk if the government is going to bail everyone out. Bailouts mean an endless supply of money...you never go broke...kinda like the gov. itself.
I halfway think that government bailouts come into play when these companies make there decisions. "If we fuk up real bad, dont worry, fed rserve will come in and save the company. We'll get canned but who cares we get millions in severence pay".---Thats how I imagine the conversation in the boardroom going.

Yet another miserable example of the Republican's devotion to deregulation and "free markets," to the tune of $85 billion in taxpayer money.
We are teetering on the brink here, folks. Hang on to your hats.

limited regulation = good
free markets = good
bail outs = not so good
republicans and democrats = not so good
Glad to help, Fester.

What we need is not more regulation. What we need is more transparency in what is going on. And what we really need is the gubmint allowing really stupid decisions to reap what they sow.
