Bob Griese and Paul Maguire

I genuinely want to know, is there a worse sportscasting duo? I realize it's actually a three man booth with Nessler, but is there a network that features a bigger duo of bumbling idiots in a single broadcast? 100 theoretical dollars to anyone who can name it. I feel sorry for Nessler, btw. I think the guy's a pro and it's unfortunate he has to call games with these two assbags.

Not a duo, but anyone who works with Pam Ward is pretty much SOL.

Tony. Fucking. Kornheiser.
He talks enough to rate as a duo.

I think he's pretty bad.
Theisman blows as well.
I like Spielman, reminds me of early Madden.

i can take griese, but when they added Paul, it took from the announcing and led to arguments. All paul wants to do is take other side and argue.
Theisman was horrible, but when him and Paul were up there, the whole fucking Sunday NFL game was them bickering and arguing over the dumbest shit. it was like 2 children wanting to hog the mike, and trying to undermine the other.

Spiels is awesome...kind of interesting seeing him work from the sidelines this year.
ABC should switch the A & B crews around...Nessler should work with Herbstreit in the primetime game and Musberger should work with Griese and Maguire.
Lundquist and Danielson is probably the best college team but Danielson needs to remember which conference he came from and stop being such a slappy for the

.
I've never been a fan of Mike Patrick in any sport he does...that Sunday Night NFL booth for ESPN was tough to listen to most weeks. Blackledge is okay but I can't stand Patrick.
Ron Franklin is still a solid voice for the Saturday night tilts.
With MNF now, Tirico and Jaws would be a fine duo...Kornheiser needs to go away and keep his star jock-sniffing act on PTI.

Son of a bitch......was hoping to be first on this one.....
Pam Ward is fucking terrible. Why on earth does ESPN continue to let her call games? Wait, I know they answer to that one......BECAUSE ESPN SUCKS!

I see ABC working. You can't put three idiots in one booth. Musberger, Griese, and Maguire? Would never work. You need some stability, otherwise it's straight tards running the asylum. This is why they have a Nessler to sort things out between Griese and Maguire's inane ramblings and to keep things running relatively smoothly. While those two idiots are going at it, Musberger would just look on with that slack jawed gaze of his, chuckling to himself, wondering if it's happy hour yet.

I can handle Lundquist in small doses. He seems like a warm, fat, jolly old man even if it does sound like he's never actually watched a football game in his entire life.

I think Patrick has watched less football than Lundquist. Absolutely brutal.
Ron Franklin is still a solid voice for the Saturday night tilts.
Meh, he's ok. One guy that doesn't get enough love is Sean McDonough...probably because he's relegated to ESPN2. That guy needs a promotion. He's got the pipes, and his delivery is pretty much flawless. He just doesn't fumble-up, ever. Plus he's not one of those asshats constantly looking to crack the one-liner. He just calls the game.

Danielson is OK (better than Bob Davie, say) but it drives me nuts when about 4-7 times a game he will proclaim a play: "that was a sure touchdown IF......"
the entire LB corps of the defense didn't tackle the RB for a 5 yard gain.
the QB didn't get sacked
the pulling guard didn't whiff his block on the corner
on and on...once you buy into the initial premise, where do you stop?

The obvious idiots (Cuntsburger, Mike Patrick and Maguire) aside, Tom Hammond and Pat Sajak have made a serious run this year at being the worst duo. Hammond is OK when he's not making Olympic references, but Pat has become such a ND cheerleader, he's not even trying to hide it anymore. Freaking aweful.

I see ya workin ....
But I've been doing too much flipping around on the channels so far this season (thankfully) to have true hatred of the one true evil of CFB ... but it's coming, bro, believe me.
Mcguire, btw, needs to face-fuck a speeding train as of yesterday. I'm just hoping that one of these days, somebody "accidentally" forgets to tighten a bolt on one of those ridiculous booms he sits in on the sidelines, and he come crashing to the ground in a blathering, tarded heap.
"Guys, from up here, I can really see how the grass tips might affect these players' cleats, and ..... ~ BANG .... muffle ... baasl;hasd ....ca.xn ... qpwo .... medic ...
Actually, I can't say that I hate Maguire as much as I logically should. Sure, he's a preeminent fucktarded fool, but at least he knows he is, and says as much. Hard for me to hate a blathering tard who realizes he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about and makes fun of himself, at times.
That's kinda a rare trait amid a plethora of "color commentators" and sideline reporters who take themselves SERIOUSLY. Please.
Which brings me to Griese, who seems to be getting more annoying by the season.
1. He's got less insight than an m2 recommendation for turkey legs at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival.
2. He's fallen under the Kornholer/Patrick disease of OMG if I don't say something every 5 seconds, I may as well not even BE here.
How about shutting the fuck up for a whole 10 seconds, you motherfucking asshat?
