Is he alive?
Oakland at Buffalo
I don't like this game much for the Raiders.
Never thrilled with a second straight road game.
Coming off a road division win could be a jolt of confidence, ... OR, it could make a team fat and happy.
Davis v. Kiffin isn't real comforting at this point.
Fargas is OUT and McFadden's got turf toe -- questionable.
M. Bush, can't you hear me knockin'??
The Jills defense has looked real good, and T. Edwards has done a job.
M. Lynch, not bad.
I think Buffalo will end up winning the AFC East.
Russell will, IMO, have to throw the ball many more times than the 17 he threw last week.
Is J. Walker ready to contribute?
Better be.
I think this game is trouble for Oakland
You've got to score points, and the Raiders won't.
Bills win 24-11.
Kiffin OUT by 9/23/08?
Hope not.
Think so.

Alive and well he is. But too busy to post here. He got another teaching gig that is taking up all his time.

The rumor swirling around here is that Kiffin would get the Syracuse job were Alice to fire him this season. SU's football program is imploding this season to the point where mid level MAC teams are treating them like Najeh Davenport treats coed's hampers. Under normal circumstances I would advise against hiring a washed up Raider coach (see Bill Callahan), but in this case the Orange have nowhere to go but up.
Of course there other who contend that were Alice to fire Kiffin that he would poison the well for him at his old Alma Mater. But I think those people are forgetting that any money Kiffin makes at Syracuse would likely count against the guaranteed money Alice would be on the hook for.

If Davis shitcans Kiffin, which I think is right around the corner, he's not gonna pay him.
Of course Al would owe him, but I can all but guarantee that Kiffin would have to take him to court in order to get (hopefully) paid.
Al will claim 'employee insubordination' or some such thang.
Lane Kiffin committed the cardinal sin in Oakland, being that he has been publicly disloyal to Al Davis ... and on a few occassions.
The first time he did it he stepped into quicksand.
The hour glass on his Raider coaching career was turned over at that time.
Since about February they've just been doing the tango.
I'd like to think Al and Lane could get to an understanding, but it says here that Lane is OUT by next Tuesday, after Oakland loses at Buffalo.

Do you have special skills at spotting transvestites ?
... and if so, why ?
MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:and Marshawn wants all of that, apparently.
You mean one of the hot blonde's with a 4.21 GPA (average applicant's GPA when applying to Cal)
Being a Cal alum.... Marshawn can tell the
difference between a dude and a chick.
These skills are obviously not present in the average Midwestern "hillbilly".

Methinks m2 should go hang out with KCPaul. Unless, of course, he has something more to offer than homoerotic spankjobs to Cal miscreants.

I'd like to give a hearty Fuck You to the other Raiderfans in this thread that predict a loss by the Silver and Black.
Assholes.

Great playcalling by Kiffin yet again.
Fuck this goddamn kid-he's a shit coach and belongs back in the fucking amateur ranks. If I see another motherfucking McFadden run up the middle i'm going to shank kiffin's dumb ass myself so he cant fuck up any more games this season.
I am now fully on board with Al firing this dumbfuck-his playcalling absolutely sucks fat, swollen cock.

I never thought i'd utter these words, but it seems painfully obvious: Kiffin's bitch ass is calling shit plays that wont work to get fired.
Fuck you Lane-I hope Al does you dirty at halftime today, bitch.
Bring in fucking Gannon to coach-he'd be a serious upgrade from Kiff's pussy ass-and he wouldnt whine like a sopping faggot from having to deal with Al.

Oakland played LIGHTS OUT defense ... for three quarters.
Fuckin' fun to watch that.
They looked gassed in the fourth quarter, though, and of course Rob Ryan's famous bend and then break defensive strategy is still undefeated.
Talk about tearing the heart out of a team, not to mention it's fans.
Then again, not really.
This is, after all, year five of the five year tear the heart out of the fans program.
The Raiders didn't make enough plays on offense, and yeah, Kiffin playcalling got a little too conservative.
Bad clock management at the end too, although I don't know that it would have mattered.
Would have been a hell of a nice road win to pick up.
They were who we thought they were, and we let 'em off the hook.
Was very nice knowin' ya, Lane.
Time to usher in the Rob Ryan era in Oaktown.
Groovy.

Considering the possibility of NO pulling off an upset, it would have been really hard for Alcula to sell firing his coach if they'd been tied for 1st in the division. Now, not so hard to sell

Slob Ryan has cost us more games in the past 5 years with his shit defensive playcalling than ANY head coach in that time frame.
The fact that Al is taking his side over Kiffins (even though Ryan has had 4-5 times the talent to work with than Lane has) tells me just how fucking stupid and far gone The Count is. There was a point where I wished Al to live long enough to see another title, now I hope for his quick death so that we can merely COMPETE for one again.
Fuck Ryan, Fuck Al, and Fuck Kiffin.
I've fucking seen enough.

Bro' James, there have been SO many frustrating losses over the last 5 years that they all sort of blend together like one giant spoiled orgasm, ... BUT, this one might be the most disheartening of all.
When Higgins scored to put us up by 9 with 6:30 left, with the way our defense had been playing all day, it should have been game over.
But Ryan called off the dogs.
Take a defense that brought RELENTLESS pressure on Edwards all day, lay 'em back, and watch 'em lose their edge.
Gibril gettin' tossed did us no favors either.
I don't know that Buffalo carves us up like they did at the end if he is in there.
Bring 'em over, slap some Raider gear on 'em, and ... next thing you know, they're RAIDERS.
We've seen this before.
Just another fun day at the ballyard.
