"The Hillbilly" is still a 38 yr. old bitch

Last night on Sportscenter....

ESPN interviewer: Brett, is it hard for you to watch the Packers have success so far this season?

BF: They played two games. I had 16 good seasons there. Call me when they get to 16 good seasons.

the truth: "I'll take that as a 'yes.'"

If Rodgers wins, he'll be 3-0, which Brett Favre accomplished only twice in the last decade, four times in his career. He will have slain the top two NFC favorites coming into the season, and will have overcome a team that seemed unbeatable to Favre's Packers last year. Over two years, Rodgers would have 1.5 wins against Dallas. Favre, meanwhile, would have contributed half a loss.

Statistically, Rodgers has outperformed Favre in '08. Dominated, really, if you've watched all four of their combined games. I'll let the stats speak: In two games, Rodgers has four scores, zero interceptions, a 117.8 passer rating and he's only been sacked once. Compare that against Favre's three, one, 104.1 and five. Close enough, I guess, but is there honestly a Packers fan out there who would switch back?

My predictions on Aaron Rodgers are the same as they were on my other two predictions over the last 4 years or so...

1. Gore would be the steal of the draft (3rd round).... check.

2. Aaron Rodgers would be the steal of the draft (end of the 1st round)... check.

3. DeSean Jackson would be the steal of the draft (2nd round).... check.

.... and "the hillbilly" is still a bitch.

I'm not going totally debunk Rodgers start but consider the fact he's beaten two teams that are currently winless. If he can beat Dallas on Sunday night, then I think more people will "believe".

Good point, but he won't. Romo is going to absolutely ROLL the Pack Sunday night.

Whoops. Sorry. I forgot to mention all those amazing, second-half stats, en route to 3 consecutive MNCs.

Tell ya what, troll: If Dallas loses, or wins by less than 7, you'll be banned for a week. If the opposite happens, I won't post for 2 weeks in the NFL forum, after Sunday.

Deal?

Oh no you di-Uhnt!

He'll be lucky to get on a roster next year. Guys who put a higher premium on showboating than on helping their team win are rarely a popular item.

I think it's safe to say that Favre and Coles have developed some chemistry.

You can look throughout his entire career...he's just like Marino and Elway. He can throw TDs to pretty much anyone wearing the same uniform. Nobody that Favre has played with is going to the Hall of Fame. It's not like Manning having Harrison, Brady having Moss, Young and Montana having Rice, Kelly having Reed, and Aikman having Irvin. Give the devil his due...the guy gets the ball into his receivers' hands and he puts them in position to make big plays. Props to the old man...he can still fling it around the field.

True...he's probably still going to throw 15-20 picks this year.

That washed up old coonass drops 6 TDs and rodgers throws 3 picks.

Yeah, emm2, keep running your dicksukker. Your "bitch" thanks you.

Wonder how many weekend like this before the cheeseheads start rounding up their pitch forks and torches.

For the sake of board accuracy, being from south MS makes one a "coast rat" or more traditionally a "redneck". Coonass is a term best reserved for Louisiana vermin. I know..I know, you can file this under "who gives a shit"....

M2 will be back when Favre has bad game..like probably next week.

Deal with it.

Not without going "Blind Squirrel" on Sunday.

He'd be ranked at the bottom without finding that nut.

He'll find his way back to down the barrel.

yeah, I know, technically, you gotta be a six toed cousin fukkin cajun from the lousyanna swamps to be a coonass. But dude is from right up he road and he's got a cajun name. Close enough for me.

Hmmm.....

GREEN BAY, Wis. – On Sunday morning, an AFC personnel executive was sitting in front of a television, fast-forwarding through replays of that week’s preseason NFL games. Unlike most NFL fans, he skimmed the first quarters, flitting past starting units in favor of scribbling notes on reserves likely to be cut in the coming weeks.

Re: How special?
“I think he might be one of the two or three best quarterbacks under 30, and there are some good ones in that group,”the executive said. “I’d take him before [Jay] Cutler, who went to a Pro Bowl last year. Give him another season and I might even take him before Eli [Manning]. And that’s a 100-million-dollar guy with a [Super Bowl] ring – good company.”

It would be cool to see Rodgers die in a plane crash.

Matt Forte and Eddie Royal were far better 2nd round steals than Jackson was.

Too bad that "The Hillbilly" will be looking DOWN on Rodgers and the Pack when the season's over.
