Do people make wine out of them? Article doesn't give any percent-sugar numbers (Brix), but if they're that tasty, surely it's worth a shot.
We're right in the meat of berry season here. Blackberries are a weed here (literally -- and an extremely invasive one at that). Lots of salmonberries, huckleberries, and elderberries around right now.
Nothing like being able to walk outside and feast on fresh fruit (of thye non-JON variety).
I will keep an eye out for these scuppernongs, on your recommendation -- since I've never even heard of such a thing, and I thought I was fairly familiar with American grape varietals.
