Your team has sleepwalked through the season so far playing cupcakes that would make the Hokie AD cringe. Y’all have yet to set foot outside of our smelly state in route to a 3-0 start.

But that all ends Saturday evening as the Hokies bring their low-powered offense (ranked 112th overall) into Memorial Stadium. Who needs an offense when you possess a young, inexperienced, poor-tackling defense? Uh, how about the special teams? Er, I have no idea how Virginia Tech has won its past 2 games against improving ACC foes. I just hope they pack the same smoke and mirrors on the team bus. Who cares though, logic does not matter when your coach is such a genius that a pouch was grafted onto his face in order to store an extra brain.

Predictions: Tyrod Taylor will run for more yards than he will pass, but will throw for his 1st TD of the season. RB Darren Evans will get 75 of his 100 yards in the 2nd half after many 3 and outs, shitty playcalling, and my rising blood pressure in the 1st half. The defense will look suspect at times, but somehow manages to contain the Husker O with opportunistic turnovers and sacks. There will be no Beamer Ball on special teams.

Hokies 20
Corn 17

The Fighting Gobblers will be victorious and celebrate by pecking the corn from Husker shit.

Hokie Hi!

that's not unusual. NU has had years where they don't play a road game until October (pesky conference games) if not the second week. Texas in the SWC had entire seasons where they never played outside the the state of Texas....and some tough conference roadies at Rice or TCU where a third to a half of the stadium is UT fans to boot.

I also see it 20-17, but with the positions reversed. I think in Lincoln we can scabdick out a W. VT's D will give us plenty of problems, while we obviously need to establish some run-game the big key IMO will be whether our big, possession-wr's can get open against their db's. Because you know VT will stack the box and we gotta be able to take what they give us. We're also going to have to do what NC failed at, avoiding turnovers and stupid penalties. We gotta play smart, field-position football, making Tyrod put-together 80yd drives to score. On D we obviously have to contain Tyrod and make him pass.

Should be very interesting. VT are scabdick masters, we are untested, remains to be seen what Bo's guys do when the going gets tough.

Uggh. If Tech could score in the redzone, then this game would be a laugher. Fuck Stinespring!

Go Hokies!

Rack Danimal for calling the scabdick. I still cannot figure out how the Hokies won this game. 30 yards in personal fouls on the last drive for the 2nd game in a row? Unfortunately Bo melted for a bit. This is the fourth win where I am left confused about the team I root for. How the fuck does this team win? I suppose it is still Bud’s opportunistic defense. Although young, they still make the right plays at the right time. Thank Jebus because I almost lost it in the 4th. Stinespring is still out of his league as an OC. I hope he gets lost on his way home.

I am not overly familiar with the Huskers, but here are my impressions from the game. They seem to be a young team that is adapting to new coaches. The defense has the athletes, but just needs to get the fundamentals down. They let some young WRs catch some wide open passes. They did basically shut down the run game outside of Tyrod and a few lucky runs. The DLine and LBs look solid. The secondary needs some work.
On offense, Ganz is a damn fine QB. He made some nice passes and seems to be able to scramble when necessary. I hate white WRs, fucking Nate Swift. He be fast and shoved Beamer’s balls right back up his lumpy ass. I wish the Huskers the best of luck for the rest of the season.

The Hokies are probably going to slime their way into another ACC title and BCS gangrape. Who cares? Best of the worst ain’t bad, is it Penn St/Oregon/LSU/UConn?

Hokie Hi!

BWAH, the corn is lucky they weren't playing Fla State. Seminoles could name the score.

It's actually pretty fucking amazing that the corn would willingly have Va Tech on the schedule. Chadron State must have been booked already

Dude, why are you talking shit? If you think Colorado looked better against FSU than Nebraska did against Va Tech, you're on fucking crack. Colorado just let a genuinely bad team hang 39 points on them with relative ease. At least Nebraska was in the game at the end. Just STFU for now and hope that the Buffs pull their heads out of their asses before November 28. If they'd played yesterday, Nebraska would've won by two TDs (or possibly four TDs if it was the same officiating crew from the FSU game).

We definitely need a BigXIIBSH troll.

These guys are hilarious.

Your team got beat Mike. Just be glad that FSU has a high school offense, otherwise FSU would've hung a hundred.

Our D still has a LONG way to go. No way I saw us getting into the endzone four times on VT and losing. Missed way too many tackles and had way too many db's out of position to make any kind of play on the ball. Our kick/punt-coverage is crap, wrap-up already. We showed some redzone toughness and should've had a big stop late in the game, other than that bleh. The next couple weeks are scary, Daniels likely blew a load in his pants watching our D.

We did what we couldn't afford to do, lose the turnover battle and commit stupid penalties. I thought the late-hit could've been called either way but Bo has learn to let it go and move on. We need Bob Stoops not Mike.

VaTech did what they needed to do, play turnover-free football and made a big play on ST's. Tyrod missed a couple potential big-passes but he played a disciplined-game and didn't throw anything close to a pick. He also ran well on a gimpy ankle. He'll just get better as the season progresses. The Hokies do what they do, find a way to win.

Plusses, we did put-up points on a quality D and had our first punt-return for a td in years. We'll score this season, unfortunately KU, Mizzou, OU, and TTech will likely be scoring more.

Dude, I don't deny for a second that CU got rolled. Terrible refereeing is just part of the CFB landscape, and good teams need to expect it and be able to overcome it. Not to mention, even if you take away FSU's two TDs that came as a direct result of horrible calls, CU still loses by 4. No ballsucking homerism here. FSU was the better team Saturday, even if the correct calls were made.
