Return to the killing grounds.

Post by atomicdad »

No not another boring rant on the wars or the presidential campaign. No this this is close to home, in my fucking garage. My lazy ass fuck neighbors have several fruit trees in their back yard. While they pick the fruit during the summer and let me come over to pick what I want they never clean up what falls to the ground. This inevitably leads to some pretty happy and healthy rats. Every year around this time the little fuckers start scavanging around for food after the fruit is gone, and I get some venturing into my yard/garage/under the house. Game on Mother Fuckers, its the start of Rat Massacre 2008. Kicked off with one kill Monday night, two more kills last night.

Image

Cracked one on the back of the head ( I like that outcome the best), and one a diagonal body shot.

Image

Fairly decent size but there is a bigger one out there. I saw it last night as I was preparing the kill floor my wife came out and wanted me to hand her the trash can. As I picked it up a big fucking rat hopped out and scurried behind my work bench.

Image

Thats the way I like them, DEAD

Image

DEADER.......

I expect the body count to grow over the next few days.

I've got fruit trees, as well. And large dumpsters from a strip mall right over the back fence.

Also got this thing called a "cat," and have no rodent problems (except for the massive squirrel population, but they leave shit alone, and are therefore allowed to live).

Nice to see you going with the old school wire and wood traps rather than those new fangled plastic ones. Those new plastic ones are for clumsy faggots afraid of breaking a nail or finger if you use the big ones. So what if they kill rats by just hugging them to death. Not that rodent torture is a bad thing.

I hate fucking cats. Why would I want one of those shitbags around all year when I only have to deal with the rats for 2-3 weeks in October?

Hell, Dinsdale, I was expecting something like, "You call those rats, those are bait for the Steelhead and Salmon runs up here in the U&L."

My bad.

But in my neck of the woods lately, the coyotes have been eating all the rats... and cats... and dogs. The "Urban Coyote Warnings" haven't quite been solving the problem.

I had peanut butter slathered all over them traps, they already licked the shit off. The batch of traps i picked up aren't as sensitive as ones i've had in the past, i'll have to tweak them a bit if I start finding "clean" traps. Also, that isn't cheese, it was a piece of melon that I tied to the trap with a piece of thread, it seemed to do the job.

Have you considered getting a pet coyote?

There were a couple of urban coyotes roamming an empty 50 acre plot of land near my house this past spring. I saw quite a few signs posted about missing cats and dogs and had to laugh. One was pretty brazen and attacked my neighbors little mutt in the middle of the day. Somebody came out and trapped/relocated them about a week later.

Nah, I was thinking more along the lines of one of those urban cougars.

I wished, it would have been alot cheaper. To many limp-wristed, hand-wringing, PETA type pussies in my area.

Bwwwaaahaaaa...way too much fucking effort dude....

Coyote / neighbors feral cat..has collision with piece of lead from my Remington 22 with 9 power scope...or .30-.30...or HMR .17....

Said deceased coyote /cat/vermin is then left laying in field as a warning to his home boys...who then come up in the middle of the night and cart his ass off and eat his ass or the cat...never had one lay there more than about 8 hours...

Damn, talk about way too much effort...

Tape a fucking 2 liter soda bottle over the end of the barrel... works like a charm with .22 shorts.

A friend has a Ruger Mark II with a (legal) silencer... with shorts, the slide makes more noise than the discharge... about like a medium-power pellet gun. (Although the recoil usually doesn't nail the slide hard enough to feed right with the shorts.)

Dinsdale has the right method. You have a cat and this rat situation is solved in nature's way. If you can't have a cat then just quietly terminate the rats but you don't need to bring a thread in here and glorify yourself for mutilating defensless animals. It doesn't make you big and it doesn't make you funny at all. Toddowen should have been prosecuted for animal cruelty. This is really bad stuff here. No conseience. Look up the word karma and give that some thought.

Dan, sometimes the natural approach is the right one...and sometimes you just have to make things work, even if they seem unnatural.

VogelFrau is one lusty kitty. It's as if she has another clitoris in her rectal canal. I'm usually not a big fan of the exhaust pipe, but she begs and wails to be tagged there, and cums and squirts like a champ when I strike her deep up in there. It seems to me that this whole process is kind of unnatural, but there you have it. If you were blessed with better anatomy, or not "cursed", as Ms. Vogel says of you, then maybe the marital arrangement might suit her needs better. The needs of a good lady outweigh the constraints of your family situation, Danny.

and the beat goes on. Two more last night, one was about the same size as the previous ones, the other was a little smaller. I still think there is a big mama out there that I want to get before it dumps a litter. Todd, no way I will ever use the poison again. Tried it once and the rat crawled under the house to die, damn that fucking stunk and fuking maggots everywhere. So follow up pics of the carnage.

Heres looking at you kid

This one here is for you Dan, that is not jelly mixed in with PB. The trap flipped over and left a pretty good puddle of blood (damn should have got a picture of that). I don't know how much blood these guys carry around but I would think this guy was pretty close to "bleeding out".
