Should be a great game ... almost as big as this year's OU-Texas matchup.

Fuggin SECBSHs -- #1 plays #5 this weekend, and they think their #4 vs #11 matchup is "the game of the century."
Classic.

It might not even be the biggest game at that time slot Saturday.

that's just pathetic.
I'm glad that we have SEC Ball Sucking Homer; because, conceptually, otherwise i might not be able to frame a thought about this stupidity without it. We've always been at war with Eastasia.
Rack the trolls.

My heart says LSU, but my head says don't be surprised if Florida beats the hell out of LSU.
Thank you for the heads up!

It's a good game, but it's not even on my radar. I'll be attending the MSU/N'western game which I'm pretty excited about, and DVRing the OU/Texas game which I'll watch when I get home. Of course they'll probably announce the score at the game and it'll ruin it for me, but whatever. When 7 pm CST rolls around, I'll be watching the Wisky/PSU game because I'm genuinely interested in seeing how PSU's season unfolds; Big Ten implications and all that. During commercials I'll flip it over to UF/LSU...and that's about the extent of my interest in that one.
BTW, is the OU/Texas game typically at 12 Eastern? Seems like an early start for a game of that magnitude.

it goes back and forth each year from the early to afternoon game.
edit: both AD's and the City of Dallas like the early start because it keeps down the number of arrests. Back when the main OU/UT action was on Commerce Street they'd avg about 700 arrests on Friday nights before the game. Usually it was Texans quoting Edmund Burke and Madison's Federalist 51 and Oklahomans vomiting 7/11 chili sauce and eating their own toenails.

ouch, 30 point loss, let's see the hat try to spin this one, "it was a road game, it was more than 200 miles from campus, the team was jet-lagged" that should knock anyone out of title contention.
If you added up the points differential for every loss USC has had from 2003 til now, you dont reach 30 points. You have to go back to Sept of '02 to get to 30 points in differential in their losses

Losing to a ranked team is a lot better than losing to an unranked team especially when your losses come when you're 25 and 40 point favorites.

LSU isn't out of contention. Last year out front should have told you, idiot.

Who gives a fuck? USC got their asses handed to them by an UNRANKED Oregon State team. How soon board bitches forget.

If you give up 51 points and lose by 30 points to ANYBODY, you are not a top 10 team. They'd better fall to at least 15, and I'd say 20.
That was an embarrassment.
Every time an SEC team drops from the rankings, a southerner loses his soul unless another SEC team is ranked in its place. Pollsters don't like it when college football fans lose their souls.
