Mike Singletary on the other hand is... a great hire.
Having been born in Chi-town..... I've always been a fan of the Bears and the way they play defense.
Even when the Bears sucked ass, they would always hit hard. This has always been one of the Hallmarks of the Bears though out their time as a team in the NFL.
Singletary will have the respect of all the players. This my friends... is a great in house hire!

That's nice.
Now he's looking for a job.
mvscal wrote:Not that Singletary will make any difference.
Now that's how a real "coach" handles a piece of shit.
He also benched JTO even though Martz for probably furious.... but it was a little too late to make a difference in the game.
It's gonna take a little time to take these "losers" and turn them into winners.
As I said, he's the right hire.

In the meantime, enjoy Singletary's weekly melts and tirades. He's going to need more than "a little time" and "a little help."
Most NFL rosters don't require major retooling. What they require is coaching and system continuity. The 9ers have had 3 OCs in the past 3 years, the most recent of whom is attempting a major overhaul in the team's offensive scheme. Not surprisingly, the results have been mixed. To expect anything else this season would be insane.

You're an idiot.
Gore has averaged around 5 yards a carry over his career.... with a shit offense line.
That's right up there with the best in NFL history.

You couldn't stop with the asinine statement you made above... could you, Jose ?
Patrick Willis was the "Rookie of the year" last year... and might have been the best defensive player in the NFL last year.
Pancho, If you spent more time "watching" football and less time on your "Fantasy football" cards.... you might learn something about the game.
