They barely even dropped.

Who have they beaten?
A horrible Auburn team?
This is again evidence of "get everybody ranked preseason, start 4-0 by playing cupcakes, and when you lose conference games, you don't drop much because it's to other ranked teams" that the SEC pulls every year. Their defense is awful (51 and 52 given up in their 2 losses)

OSU and Mizzou are both ranked ahead of LSU and you have no problem with that.
Who have they beaten again?
Mizzou's big win is over a 5-3 Nebraska team and OSU....well they took care of Troy, Youngstown, Ohio, and the little sisters of the Big 10.
But do you really think that LSU wouldnt spank OSU again? Mizzou would....well I dont know how they would fare against OSU and LSU considering the only team they played with a defense beat them.
LSU, OSU, Mizzou.....Preseason build up keeping them a float. The media doesnt like looking bad.
