Sam the unlicensed, divorced, wife-beating, tax-cheating plumber?

Actually given McCain's age, and Obama's well, you know, our poll should have choices for Biden and Palin as being next President since the elected guy has to last until late January to be sworn in.

It interests me to see how this thing turns out. Will undecideds and independants vote for Obama when the get behind the curtain? He has questionable ties, no real experience. The fact that he's black and leading the polls means that this country is not nearly as racist as it's often been accused of. He is a gifted speaker and great campaigner, he has charisma and all the stuff that makes the media and Hollywood's swoon. The Dems have always been in love with the guys with more style than substance, it often works out for them. The Republicans have been trying to ride Reagan's coattails since he knew his own name. They need a fresh face, McCain aint it, but he may be the best candidate of the two. Obamas tax policy worries me, his health care package will never happen. It is an empty promise. I feel that McCain has told the truth and promised things that are deliverable and Obama has often said what he believes will get him elected, whether his policies are executable or not. The net effect has meant a good lead for Obama. McCain's downfall may very well be that he ran a much cleaner campaign. He has held back on negative ads, I'd wager that Obama speant more on negative ads than McCain did all together. McCain has shot down wackos that accuse Obama of being a terrorist or a Muslim extremist. When people hang a Palin dummy in Hollweird Obama says nothing.

My vote won't be swayed by negative ads. But how many can or have been? I've been undecided all along, yet phone messages, mailbox stuffing , tv ads, will not make my decision for me. I'll vote for one of the two.The rest of the douches are inconsequential. We may need to eliminate the two-party system but now is not the time to waste a vote. Florida is always tight and every vote matters (counted or not :hfal: ).

I think the Frenchies favor Obama at about a 90% clip.

As good a reason as I can think of NOT to place that vote, Obamanutlickingfaggots.

Right?

Oh ... McCain *officially* declared the winnah of this TIGHT contest at 9:07 a.m. eastern time Wednesday November 5th, 2008.

The fact that he's black and leading the polls means that this country is not nearly as racist as it's often been accused of.
How are we using the term "racist"? Does it mean "prejudiced against blacks"?

To me it should mean, "using race as an incentive - for or against". I dislike both approaches - voting for a black man just 'cuz he's black, and voting against black man just 'cuz he's black. However, I know we are a nation of window-shoppers, and those approaches will indeed be taken by most folks.
The Dems have always been in love with the guys with more style than substance, it often works out for them.
I think that what you mean is Dems like candidates who are are articulate and can communicate well and are...inspirational. In short, everything Bush 2 wasn't. In 1992, Bill Clinton was those things. They've been looking for another since then, Obama fits the bill.

Reagan was popular for exactly the same reasons - The Great Communicator. I think the GOP's leaders haven't really inspired their followers since those days. I don't think it is only Dems that appreciate those qualities.

Slice it any way you like. The fact that a black man is on the verge of becoming the leader of the free world means that for a majority of (voting at least) Americans skin color is no barrier. It also means that many people do what the television tells them to, but that's another story. Don't over think it bro, your guy is looking good down the stretch.

JFK asked Americans to think of what we could do for our country. Obama is trying to get elected by promising what our country will to for them.
Then again, he did have his political allies steal the election for him.

So there's that in common.

Barack is GOD.

GOD will be the next President of the United States!

Sing his praises! Sing his praises! Shout his name!

GOD will make the angry man smile! GOD will set this country on the right path!

The support of the Indian Americans to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is steadily rising , thanks to his lucky charm Lord Hanuman.

That doesn't appear to me to be a "I'm going to vote for Obama" piece as much as it's a recognition of his soft skills as a leader - commanding presence, charismatic eloquence, and ability to motivate - and a resignation to the polls suggesting he will win. That was followed by a hope, that since he's resigned to Obama winning, that Obama can come through and do the job.

There is nothing declarative about the author's intentions whatsoever.

So Mace, the retarded maggot, lauds Onogger's alleged leadership qualities claiming that we need those leadership qualities to guide us through this dire economic crisis "the likes of which some Americans have not seen" and further claims that "Here's one Republican hoping that Obama is that guy"....oh but he's going to vote for McCain.

You remain a brainless fuckwit.
LOL. That NYSun article lost any and all credibility right about here:
The prospect of an increase in the capital gains rate ahead could lead to a surge in revenue now as investors take their gains while the lower rate is in effect.
(I'm sort of wondering exactly which "gains" they're referring to.)

You on the other hand, like your other two references, never had any credibility to begin with
