Officially that is. The longest bowl attendance streak in football officially ended today. I don't know how I feel, i want this season to be over.

All great programs have gone through these moments, but for all my 28 years of life I have included Michigan football as part of my holiday tradition, I don't know what this year will be like with Michigan staying home. I can't even wrap my mind around it. Well...I guess we had it coming.

I am fucking disgusted. 48 Motherfucking points to Purdue. Purdue, playing with their third string qb, a guy who was a runningback until last week leads Purdue to 48 points vs. Michigan. You're going against a guy who last played qb somwhere in high school and you let him beat you. I want DC Scott Schaefer fired, and I mean now. I would hand him 500 bucks to find his own way back to AA, do not pass go, no more interaction with players. If it costs UM a recruit or two, so be it. How did this fuck get the job. His resume lists Western Michigan and Stanford. Anybody here remember the last time they were in the conversation of defensive powerehouses? Me neither. This asshat continues to play the softest coverage I've ever seen. If the qb on the other team isn't a qb at all then why make it so easy for him to play pitch and catch. The same thing cost UM the Toledo game where one kid had 20+ receptions on easy pitch and catches.Fire Schafer. I've seen enough, get Schafer the fuck out of there. If I'm RR I am taking applications right fucking now. We tie the game with a minute and change, and anyone watching the game knew we scored too quickly. This defense is brutal. Twice Michigan had 14 point leads that they coughed up, fire Schafer. Then in the last minute Purdue and the rb at qb rolls downfield like John Fucking Elway.Fire Schafer Then when it looks like there would be at least a longish fg attempt Purdue runs a hook and lateral to ice it.Fire Schafer.

Any Michigan fan worth a shit knew it would be a difficult year. The offense decimated, but the defense returning alot of starters and some good youngsters ready for action. The offense has shown improvement as the year has gone along. I think it's clear to see that with a dual threat qb this offense can be effective. I see nothing to make me believe that the defense hasn't taken a huge step backward. Fire Schafer.

Bright spots....
Minor looked good.
Kick and punt returns (minus the Odoms muff) were very good.
We have a great punter with another year of eligibilty.
O-line blocked well most of the game.
Offense scored in both halfs.
Stoneum played well.

Shit that pissed me off....
Odoms fumble leading to a td.
Threet held the ball too long a few times taking sacks.
Threet needs to keep the option handoffs on occasion to keep the D honest.

Threet sucks and the current state of the program is deplorable. Bo is rolling over in his fucking grave over the shitstorm that is the defense.

I'd pick them up via scalper on gameday. Shouldn't be a problem except for fellow Buckeyefan driving up the price. Also the UM football forum on Mlive usually has a few guys dumping tix, for face value, probably don't want an osu nick though.

Shaffer has been an abortion as the defensive coordinator. They would've won a couple of these games with English running the defense. Today was really disgusting to watch...the offense looks very potent but the defense gets plungered by Tiller and his bag of tricks. He's gotta go...
