For week nine...
1 Titans
2 Giants
3 Panthers
4 Steelers
5 Eagles
6 Buccaneers
7 Redskins
8 Jets
9 Cardinals
10 Patriots
http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/powerrankings
The Bucs at 6???
Mounting a comeback against the fucking Chiefs means you were losing to them in the fourth quarter. No way they should be in the top ten.
Plus I had them in my parley this week. Assholes.

I would tend to agree. But since my team lost to both of them I didn't want to say anthing.
Besides, the Suckaneers cost me $$$.
Assholes.

ESPN's rankings are a little better. Plus they actually give you the names of the clowns making the list up.
1 (1) Titans 8-0-0
2 (2) Giants 7-1-0
3 (4) Steelers 6-2-0
4 (3) Panthers 6-2-0
5 (5) Redskins 6-3-0
6 (10) Eagles 5-3-0
7 (9) Buccaneers 6-3-0
8 (13) Cardinals 5-3-0
9 (12) Bears 5-3-0
10 (16) Falcons 5-3-0
11 (19) Jets 5-3-0
12 (7) Patriots 5-3-0
13 (14) Ravens 5-3-0
14 (6) Bills 5-3-0
15 (18) Colts 4-4-0

Tenuhcee? Yea, right. That "0" means dick.
Giants are #1
Steelers
Panthers
Titans
Ravens - That's right bitches. Getting it done against who they should, rook is looking sweet. The D is still playing extremely well and now they have enough movement to keep them in ANY game. 2 FG losses to PIT and TEN, the old Central is getting ready from some January brawwwwwlin'. Should be nice. Oh and the run down Ray Ray? Uh, 5 years extension coming? Whoa Nelly. A jersey I can actually use for a decade? Unbeivable!
So there ya have it. My rankings are all that count, ya know.

Ravens
Not a bad list, imo.
You might argue a couple other teams instead of the Crows, but nobody is SO strong as to make a super-compelling case for that spot.
Toss up between a handful of teams.

Falcons at 10.
Sorry y'all, but that just seems so fucking bizarre to me. I was expecting MAYBE 1 or 2 wins at this point of the season.
It makes more sense than Jets at 8.

With their injuries? No.
If Westbrook was still out they'd probably be 9 point favorites.

So Westbrook is a 12 point swing? Highly doubtful. Could it be that Vegas sees the Giants 7-1 record as highly inflated considering who they have played?
The combined record of the the teams the Giants have played so far? 27-40
Eagles? 33-33
Skins? 37-36
I'm not so sure the Giants are the clear cut #1 team in the division, much less the NFL. After this week when the Eagles win, I think you'll finally see the stories about the Giants inflated record.

Actually all the polls have them at #2. But by all means, good luck this weekend. The more you guys drag each other to parity, the higher seed the Cards end up with.

The Cardinals are a shit team atop a shit division. They'll default into the playoffs with a 10-6 record (at best) and lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. Guaranteed.

Half right. But having a shitty division and weak schedule got the Dolts a first round bye and home game a couple years ago, it should work here. In the mean time, I'll be rooting for whoever has the worse record whenever your division plays each other. And try not losing to the Lambs. They are starting to embarass you fuckers.
We'll see how much of a 'shit team' you think the Cards are the day after Thanksgiving, BTW.

Gee, I dunno.
Maybe because they lead the Skins by a game-and-a-half, the Eagles by two and the Boys by two-and-a-half?
Maybe because they ARE the Super Bowl Champions?
Little things, I know.
I picked the Eagles to beat NY at home this week, but as of RIGHT NOW, the Giants are CLEARLY #1 in the East and on a VERY short list of contenders for #1 team in the NFL.

A 2 game lead (which is in essence a 3 game lead over every team in the division since they currently hold the head to head over each team) should pretty much put them as the clear cut leader of the best division in football.
Still plenty of football left right now and I can see the divisional games being like the one last night.

Considering their relative strength of schedules, I'd give the Giants the nod over the Titans this week.

Damn the Athletic Director for the Titans who set up that schedule.
P.S. The same teams in the AFC South who inflated their SOS last year are pretty much the same teams this year. Jags and Colts are just not producing like last year while the Titans are. And since the Titans don't play the Titans twice like the others in their division, it makes sense why they have a softer schedule.

You have a point. And spanking the Bengals, Vikes, Texans and Chiefs was clutch. But props on the Colts game. Winning by more than a TD?

Not trying to knock the Raider fans, but when a QB goes 7 of 24 with 4 INT's against the Raiders, sounds to me like there's QB trouble in Charlotte...
(Yeah - I'm all giddy about the Falcons at 8, but we got a LONG ways to go....)
LOL, yea. Guess some of ya missed the fantasy dorks call to bench Steve Smith last weekend because they were doomed to be a bust. Although it was OAK, CAR was the first east coast team to win on the west coast last week. At least I think I remember seeing a 0-12 stat in regards ot that. There's nothing to be concerned with in CAR in regards to the result of that game. They are what they are, a team that can win ball games late and shoot themselves in the foot at critical times but just like a few years back, they gamble and it pays off quite often.

Power rankings through the 3/4 point of the season:
1) Cowboys - most talented top to bottom, most explosive and hot at the right time. Clearly the team to beat.
2) Titans- very good team, may represent AFC in Super Bowl.
3) Giants- Solid all around, but have some soap opera issues and an average secondary. It's hard to repeat.
4) Steelers- Built for the playoffs, but we'll see about the shady running game.
5) Colts- There's something about them....Dallas/Ind SB wouldn't surprise me.
6) Panthers- Nobody is taking them seriously, but they can get it done.
7) Buccanneers- They are reliable and haven't lost since the Cowboys game but no shame in that.
8.) Patriots- inconsistant and old, but can still win a playoff game or two.
9) Jets- Fuck them. Playoff team, but completely overrated with shit receivers and shit running backs.
10) Cardinals- Nice little team, good enough defense and dynamic offense.
11) Ravens- wild card to watch...they play loose and confident.
12) Vikings- dangerous just because of the d-line and running game.
Honorable mention: Broncos, Falcons, Redskins (all shitty overachieving teams who may make the playoffs only if they fall assbackwards into it)

Myopic much? How about winning the damn division first. Oh yeah, they won't.
3) Giants- Solid all around, but have some soap opera issues and an average secondary. It's hard to repeat.
Yes, but if there is one team that can do it, it's the Giants. Soap opera issues have no relevance here.
9) Jets- Fuck them. Playoff team, but completely overrated with shit receivers and shit running backs.
And currently winning their division. Next?
10) Cardinals- Nice little team, good enough defense and dynamic offense.
And currently winning their DOGCRAP division. And had their ass handed to them by the Giants and Eagles. Good story so far, but no.
12) Vikings- dangerous just because of the d-line and running game.
