I think we can cut him some slack on the podium and all that. He said "WOW Thanks", because I believe he was surprised that someone went through the trouble of putting together a professional set.

Further, I appreciate it as a citizen, in that it shows me he has a clear understanding of the magnitude of the job, the situation we're in, and a desire to prove that he's professional and able to lead.

That's my gut reaction to the set. I wish he'd elaborate a bit more on the "tough decisions", but I don't think they know what they're going to do yet. They're probably still in the the divergent stage of "exploring the mess".
