Nick Sheridan, and Scott Schafer......

Sheridan, bless his little heart, had his moment of glory in the win vs. Minnesota last week. He managed to stay out of the way enough and Michigan got the W. Nice story.
Now go the fuck away! This poor bastard should have never had to see the field in his UM career. His is not equiped to play in D-1 at all. So I guess it's hard for me to level the blame on some poor bastard that is caught up in the perfect storm...but I will. For the love of fuck throw the ball. In D-1 football indecision kills. Time and again his happy feet got him in trouble, or pulling down throws and looking elswhere in critical situations led to passes with zero chance of positive results. The other option, Threet, isn't much better. He did lead UM to 42 points against Purdue and did have the team on the move in the 4th quarter today before getting banged up. So I guess the question begs, why not start Threet? If he's well enough to relieve a struggling Sheridan in the fourth quarter, why not start him? I've got a ton of issues with the offensive play-calling as well. When the running game is gashing NW most of the day, why abandon it. I know you need to mix in some passes, and in a perfect world where there is a qb capable of connecting downfield I don't mind passes on first down. But in the case of Sheridan, throwing on first down is going to automatically leave you in second and 10 (best case scenario). My God this has been an excruciating season to watch!! For the first time ever, I cannot wait for the off season. This abortion of a season cannot end soon enough for me.
Scott Schafer. Please clear out your desk, get thr fuck out of Ann Arbor, and never look back. When you're at South Dakota St. coaching special teams next year remember the talent you squandered. You shit the bed on homecoming and senior day in spectacular fashion. You know the talent is there. The Wisconsin game showed us the talent, the Minnesota game showed us the talent. The rest of the season has been a complete emabarrassment on the defensive side of the ball. There are five or six NFL players on the D, yet you somehow manage to compile statistically speaking, the worst defensive unit in the HISTORY OF THE PROGRAM. We all knew the offense would struggle greatly with the lack of experience on the roster, but you Scottie boy were handed the keys to a solid unit....and promptly shit down your leg. Do you ever feel like you're stealing Schaf? Because I gotta tell you sporto, I don't know how you get up in the morning look at your results and find the audacity to pick up your paycheck. Again, can I blame you for accepting a position you've got absolutely no right getting? No. But man up and resign. Tonight would be fine. You will not be missed.
