Well, I could give you about 15 or so during the game.... but this one here is very typical of how the PAC 10 officials call the game when they are on the road.

This video might blow your mind if you aren't a PAC 10 fan... but, I'm sure every PAC 10 guy on this board won't be the least bit shocked by this video like the rest of you will.

It's called a catch... and reviewed by "replay" and confirmed that it is a catch!!!!

Not a "single" part of his body is in the field of play as he's bobbling the ball out of bounds.

It's the first play on this video....

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BG-Mt3l6zto&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BG-Mt3l6zto&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/youtube]

I'm glad Zack Follett finally stepped up and said what most of the players in the conference think and feel... but don't have the balls to say.

Here's his thoughts on video...

"Later in the game, I'm being held ... I asked the refs if they'd call something and they said, 'You're away from the play so it doesn't matter.'

Can Kal get a replay for the Maryland game? Tedford figgered out how to use Priceline for an earlier flight.

Do you ever watch the games ???

Or do you just spout off as a blabbering "hillbilly" who can't do any research ???

The game was 27-21 with 44 seconds to go... and Cal had 98 yards to make with 0 timeouts. They had no chance to go down the field in that amount of time. Riley threw the ball down field in desperation and it was returned for a TD with seconds left in the game.

Don't let the FACT that a Best TD was called back on a "mystery" holding call that never happened... cloud you thoughts.

Research the game once in a while before you open your ignorant "hillbilly" trap.

What type of "research" is necessary, toolio? I'm not the one arguing against the facts - and the facts indicate Cal lost the game because they couldn't outscore their opponent. Have you ever actually admitted defeat, or has Cal's fate only rested in the hands of the refs? What does that say about Cal, for that matter? That they aren't good enough to control their own destiny in a football game? Why is this matter continually ignored by you?

Did you watch the two video's ?

What are your thoughts ?

Cal's ahead in that game if not for the officials... and have no need to try and go 98 yards in 44 seconds. Are you still following along here ???

The video I gave you is just "one" of about 15 calls in that game that changes the flow.

If it's one or two horrible calls in a game... I can live with that shit. Not 15 game changing calls.

The holding call on Cal's fullback (that went out on a pass pattern) and called back a TD... is rather game changing... wouldn't you say ???

I've seen worse....

At the very least, you are not complaining about calls when your team WINS....like a board beyotch around here does....

The point of the thread was "Replay" and why the fuck have it if they can't get an obvious mistake reversed ???

I got side tracked and was remembering all the other calls in the game.

probably because the replay wasn't conclusive.

15 game-changing calls? bitch, please. cal is cal, that's why they're not very good.

I had humble pie a few weeks ago. It seems like it's been a while since our lil chime-selling buddy has had some. Then again, Cal does have a few games left. :D

.m2,

First off this may shock you, but you are never going to get a call at any level above JV on a hold away from the point of attack. Take the TE on a DE or LB on the left side of the formation. The offense runs to the right side with a toss sweep. I don't care if the TE tackles the DE or LB and then sits on him. As long as the play was a quick hitter away that will never be called.

Further, your boy complaining about hands to the face is too much. Dude couldn't do anything without getting his hands in guys faces, but alas hands to the face were called both way in that game. Then to top it off the guy is dense enough to bring up the fact that he had two Personal Fouls and had to change the way he played. Duhh. You think? Damn right you needed to change the way you were playing.

As for the James Rodgers review, I thought it was a non catch seeing it live. However, it is moot because the stellar Cal defense gives up a 31 yard run on the next snap.

The officials no more won this game for OSU than I did.
