Hola! Refugee from CSTV here, which is set to explode on 12/1. If I need a reference, ask Mr_T.
The Game is Six Degrees of AlaCyclone. Name two Division 1-A teams, and I will connect them in six degrees or less by games that I have attended. If you stump me, you get a point, If I make the connection in six degrees or less, I get a point.

If you are indeed new ... welcome, Ala.
You'll have to forgive this bunch, as there is a ton of trolling, or attempted trolling going on in this forum and on this board.
Btw, no trolling in the CFB forum.

I'm new and not a troll. Just a refugee from a board that is about to go kerplunk. I was a regular on the Fans Only / CSTV board from 2001-Present.
Name two teams and get this game started Radio!

Good to see you Ala! This board is needing some new faces. I know you have been enjoying the Tide being at #1
Ps. You will have to excuse WW. He is still all riled up over the two greatest years of mizzou football history. The greatest tiger years of all-time and they are still second rate
Edit: Looks like Durp registered to. Been wondering how to make that "moosepiss" he is legendary for.

Thank you sir! It has been a GREAT year so far! I went to the Arkansas game earlier in the year, and I will be going to the Iron Bowl for the first time since 1971 next week. I really enjoy watchig this team play, especially when they are running the ball well with Coffee and Ingram.
I'm really glad that you stopped by the old planet before it blows!

Dont forget Arenas. He about won last weeks game single handily.
JPW reminds me of Jay Barker. Not a great QB but doesnt put Bama in bad positions. He has been helped out a lot by that O-Line. Wish FSU could get a hold of a o-line like that.
Bama-Gaytors in the SEC Championship, the original SEC championship matchup.
Ps. I was at the last two Iron Bowls when Alabama won. I have been banned by my Auburn buddies until the tigers lose again.

Javy was GREAT! If he played for some other teams, he would be a Heisman contender. Maybe not this year with all of the Big 12 QBs, but you get my point.
JPW is having a career year, and I'm proud of him for hanging in there through his career. He is a tough kid and will be remembered for the rest of his life, if 'Bama beats Auburn - let alone if 'Bama beats UF and ??.
The o-Line is INCREDIBLE! Otherwise, 'Bama is not undefeated.
Funny thing about this year's Iron Bowl is that I decided before the year to go or the first time in forever. I always go to a couple of games a year, but I enjoy the other matchups over that one for some reason. As it turns out, I will keep my string in tact of only seeing 'Bama play Auburn with the Tide undefeated! LOL.
Not sure how the rest of the year is going to play out, but it has been N-I-C-E, so far!
:)

Yep, I'm older than dirt!
That 1971 Iron Bowl was my second CFB game. The first was earlier in the year, when I saw Southern Miss (with Ray Guy) play Alabama in old Denny stadium, capacity 59,000.

Let me see if I got this straight as I just skimmed through this....
We're supposed to name teams you've never seen, right?
Ala, perhaps you stumbled across the wrong message board. I'm thinking this one better suits your personality....

I have a better game.....
Name the New Year's Day bowls I-State has been to in the last 100 years? First one to name one wins $10,000,000. Would you like to begin Ala???

Thanks for the directions.
Actually, the point is to name two teams that I have seen (95 1-A teams), and then I will connect them. Unfortunately, I have not seen all 120 1-A teams yet, so I give a point to someone who chooses a team that I have not seen, before that said team is knocked off the board. It's more fun that way, than listing the 25 that I have not seen yet and scoring all of the points.
As for ISU and New Year's Day games, they haven't played in one. No biggie, as I'm defined by that. However, I am partially defined by the fact that my degree from the Iowa State University of Science and Technology actually means something in the real world. On my resume, I have my Alma Mater and Degree listed, not their Bowl appearances.
However, since you brought up New Year's Day games, I have been to a few of them in person over the years...4 Sugar Bowls, 4 Cotton Bowls, 4 Gator Bowls, 2 Orange Bowls, 2 Hall of Fame / Outback Bowls, 1 Fiesta Bowl and 1 Citrus Bowl. Additionally, I've been to some non-New Year's Day Bowl Games too...3 Tangerine Bowls, 3 Liberty Bowls, 2 Music City Bowls, 1 Sun Bowl, 1 Motor City Bowl, 1 Chick-fil-A Bowl, 1 Hall of Fame Classic and 1 Independence Bowl. I think that is it, as I might have forgotten one. I'm not sure which one I am attending this year, but I'm sure that I will have fun.
So, if you want to name two teams, go for it! I'll try to connect them.
:)

The 1983 Alabama-PSU game was a great game with a bad ending! LOL. I watched that game on the tellie down in Louisiana. My first game at Beaver Stadium was the 1996 Iowa-Penn State game - when Tim Dwight beat the Lions 21-20. Cold, sleet and rain just like this past weekend at the Northwestern @ Michigan game that I attended! Yuck!

Good one! I have seen both teams, but I cannot connect them due to a loop to loop with San Jose State. What I mean by that is that the team that I saw SJSU play was a one time appearance too. So, the Spartans are off the board, but WMU can be used again. Point for you, and you take the lead!
