Great win for UC on a chilly night. If they beat Syracuse, they are probably Orange Bowl bound.
Great job Bearcats!

They deserve it.
It was nice of the announcers to mention how much of an impact D'Antonio had on the program because that D is pretty much all of his recruits.

You're probably right, but him snubbing Steve Kragthorpe after the game last week was pretty fucking funny.

Please elaborate. Not that it's necessary, because he was smoking pole as a coach at Grand Valley and at Central Michigan, but I'm interested anyway.

Let's see...
01. Alabama...Born and raised in Birmingham and teethed on the Tide. My parents went to the University and had season tickets - when I was growing up. My first CFB game was in 1971 at Denny Stadium.
02. Iowa State - Alumnus of the Iowa State University of Science and Technology.
03. Northwestern...Lived in Chicago and had sesaon tickets to the Wildcats.
04. Cincinnati...Live in Cincinnati and attend as many games as I can.
05. Lived in Midtown Atlanta and attended GT games.
06. Lived in the Bay Area for a couple of years and attended both Cal and Stanford games. It's my only conflict really, but when push comes to shove, I pull for the Bears to win the Axe.
That's it really.
In every case, I lived in the place with the team and attended games. Since they are all in different conferences, what's the diff?
:)

Ala, Adel's got his head too far up his uneducated ass to ever get where you are coming from, so don't sweat him. If you had went to the Chrysler plant straight out of HS, maybe you'd get where he was coming from. Then again, you could have dropped out of HS and still been on the same plane as him.

actually i enjoy owning my own Real Estate appraisal company, little more than 4 years now. Making 70K at age 18 was horrible, especially while they paid for college. Was a very tough part of my life, and I'm glad i over came those tough times to be where i am now in life. Thanx for your concern

Any truth to the rumors that Kelly is the leading candidate for the Tennessee job?

we were working 14 hours a day, plus Sundays for over a year and a half. Putting in 80+ hours was easy as pie.
when they retooled the old plant for the new minivan, we worked 6 days a week, 10 hour shifts, they would beg us to work 2 hours before and 2 hours after, then 10 hour Sundays at double time. There were guys who worked 7 days a week 14 hours a day for close to 2 years, they made over 100K, but never seen their kids, wife was fucking some one else, and their health went to shit. I stayed close to 10 years at Chrysler, then decided to bail, i hated the place, my plan was to go to Mizzou and during summer make cash working as a TPT(temp part timer) at Chrysler, but the cash was too easy, and got sucked in. My last year at Chrysler in 99, i made under 40K i believe, and moved to Florida and became an apprentice Electrician and made 14K. best thing i ever did, not only because i was able to move back and learn the appraisal trade under a buddy, but the Plant i worked at is Closed for good(October 31st of this year it closed).
For wags, there is only 1 person per shift doing the batteries. So hate to bust your bubble, not everyone is putting in batteries or handbooks, or floor mats, most are working hard for their $. And giving away any life they have to work there for a pay check.

for that 3-4 year spell, they begged people to work OT.The line only stopped for lunch and a 12 minute break in between shifts. They had relief guys who would give breaks, so the line didnt stop. We were the only plant building the vans for part of the time, as canada was down for retooling. They had supervisors on the line working OT to get those things out, it was crazy. we were at 82 vans per hour.
and yes,MGO, i pissed away a bunch of it on gambling!
