man, they are losing by 20 but Raftery and homeboy can't get enough of talking up Notre Dame. They are "so resolute". they are losing by 20!

on the Yahoo! website basketball page this AM was "ND deserves to be #2"....based on what? beating # 12 Texas in November means you jump about 8 teams in the "deserves to be" rankings.

this kind of stuff is too much. too obvious.

ND cuts it to 11, "this is one of the great games" the announcer howls. 5 minutes left, OK. but, c'mon.

Carolina has scored on 4 straight possessions but it's the Irish that "keep fighting" and are "incredible".

i kinda like Mike Brey but this is just ridiculous nonsense. gotta pump that Big East, i guess.

ND's losing because they're wearing those stupid fucking balck jerseys. Let me know when a program like UNC ever bust those travestys out. UNC is also in another stratosphere when it comes to talent, as I'm sure you know.

But why do you hate Bill Raftery? Because ND didn't come out ....... IN DA MAN TO MAN!!!

i like Bill Raftery. but he's toeing the line here....and he didn't understand chili-cheese fries when they dragged him to Norman a couple years ago.

I believe there is only one person on the face of the earth who hates Bill Raftery, and he is a moderator here.

Too bad Macalarney decided to shoot his load when it was too little, too late for the Irish.

I usually don't start following college basketball until about December 1 or so. I guess I'm old school in that regard.

I missed this game, so I won't comment on the game itself. Having said that, ND in recent years has gotten a lot of flak over its OOC schedule. In that regard, playing Indiana, Texas, North Carolina and Ohio State (coming up) and winning 2 of 3 games so far definitely doesn't suck.

I'm hoping this is the year we make it past Round 2 of the NCAA tournament. That might be asking a little much, though.
