Thank You, NFL

For giving us this unwatchable turkey of a shit game every Thanksgiving with the hapless Lions. Jesus, a moderately competent college team could beat these sad sack excuses for an NFL team.
When is the league going to wake the fuck up and move the T-day games around to teams who might be competitive? The lowly Chiefs could put up a better fight than this, for Lamar's sake. This game is enough to make one lose his appetite.
Fuck you and your tradition of putting up another comical effort, Detroit. If you had any pride whatsoever, you'd demand not to be allowed to be humiliated on National TV on a National holiday ever again.

What do you give a fuck? Your faggot ass should be prepping for Thanksgiving day with the family. You know, prepping food, getting your shit together, eating dinner, etc etc etc. The Lions are background noise anyway while people are eating dinner.
You should be PARTICIPATING in your family's holiday. Yeah, I know you're taking pride in stuffing your hand down your pants while every other worthwhile member of your family contributes to the holiday, but get your fucking shit together, tard, and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Nice rant, Screwey.
My "job" on T-day is watching football and staying the fuck out the way whilst the wimmen folk happily toil away in the kitchen. They'll let me know when it's time to eat.
Now get your faggot ass back in the kitchen and stuff that turkey, bitch. Tell your boyfriend to put on some MGMT... that it just might get in the mood for some after dinner sex.

That's quite the example you are setting, Whitey. I hope you remember this when your daughter realizes it's easier to lay on her back, spit out kids and collect welfare checks than it is to be a contributing member of a family.
And there must have been a whole bunch of faggots at the Caps game last night because they were playing some MGMT during the second intermission.
Go fuck yourself.

What you should be complaining about, Whitey, is this faggy teeny-bopper halftime show that is on, that is BY FAR worse than the game itself.
Typical NFL: During the halftime of a sport that is noteworthy for violence and land acquisition, have on some corporate faggot teeny bopper music that only 10 year old girls listen to.

The Lions front office quit when they put Kitna on IR with about 10 weeks to go in the season. Signing Culpepper off the street and starting him a few days later is a joke. Having Kitna wouldn't have made a huge difference, but they would have won a game or two this season, instead they'll most likely go 0-16. The Lions front office decided instead of playing their best players they would have open try outs for next season, with over half the season to go. The Lions are not only an embarrassment to Detroit, but to the American people. These quitters should be banned from any more Thanksgiving Day games and perhaps the NFL itself.

I can honestly say, this is the worst of the 12 losses. This team didn't have a chance from the start. If Marinelli doesn't get fired after this loss...well, I guess I wouldn't be surprised. He should be let go or put out of his misery as it were. It's not going to make the team any better but I think Marinelli is just banging his head against the wall working with 2nd and 3rd string talent that the mustache put together for him.
As for the Thanksgiving debate...this our tradition for better or worse. If you don't like it, find something else to watch. I can't defend how bad my football team has been but this is still a tradition that we started back in the '30s. Did anyone bitch about the Cowboys playing on Thanksgiving when they were 1-15? I'm sure if the Lions were at least competitive or entertaining, the cries for them to lose the game wouldn't be as loud. I'd like to think most people liked watching Barry run on Turkey Day in the past. It's not been the same since.
I like seeing them add a third game to the schedule on Thanksgiving but it shouldn't be on NFL Network...maybe ESPN or NBC. I think more people will watch Texas-Texas A&M just because it's available to more people. What I'd say for a compromise with the Lions being able to keep the game is why not have a doubleheader on both CBS and FOX? Have four games on today...allow the Lions and Cowboys host their games but then have alternatives on the other channel. You can't do flex scheduling given the different day of the week. Has anyone seen the MNF game this week...Houston vs. Jacksonville, really? They make these schedules ahead of time...you never know how good or bad these games might be before the season.

Thought about it hard, too. Good thing this week is essentially meaningless, or I'd really be gripping.
Nice game by Bironas. Anytime you get 21 points from your freaking kicker is bound to be a good week.

Where are you tards (Sup Wags?) bitching about how uncompetitive the second game has been? Oh yeah, because it's easier to kick a tard when he's down. What if it was the Lions beating down an 0-11 Titans team? It would still be a bore to everyone but Lions fans and those living in Michigan. Quit your motherfucking crying and be thankful for your family and friends and the fact that football IS a Thanksgiving tradition. Even if it's the Lions, it's still better than your traditional Christmas Day NBA tard-a-thon snooze-fest involving Shaq and or Kobe in one of the two games.

Big difference is that Dallas, as the perpetual host, doesn't suck year in and year out. But yeah, this game blows too.

I disagree. This Lions team is full on entertainment. One day you'll be able to look back and say you witnessed history in the making; one of the worst franchises in the history of professional sports. Possibly THE worst. Take in the moment. These are special times.

yea, this second game blows too - just turned it on
I just took the turkey off the brinkman (yea Wags, I cook) and waiting for OL to finish up all the other stuff. We had the family football game (I threw for about 500 yds) and after dinner is the Family Rock Band Session with the AC/DC classics (sup SM?).
Football is just the background noise today

The two are mutually exclusive. But since we're on the topic, I know the AC/DC Rock Band track pack or whatever it is called is the setlist from the Live album, but is it the "live versions" of the songs? Or are they all the studio versions, as most, if not all, of the rock band songs are? I must admit, if I was loaded and/or stoned off my ass, I'd enjoy playing "For Those About to Rock" if it was the live version. "Whole Lotta Rosie" would be fun, too.
And the kids in your family should feel fortunate. Growing up, all we had was football to watch and a billiard table in my grandparents' basement to use. No video games, either. They were strictly forbidden at family holidays. Family Rock Band sessions would be tight. Especially playing all the songs from the self-titled Cars album.

Excuse me, what is up at 9:30am on Thanksgiving? Bitches and their bitches.
Good God, what were you doing Wednesday, shopping? You may not know it yet, but you have a vagina too.
