Father/son act in Knoxville?

Seems like the natural choice for Lane and it will be something different for his pops after a long stint in Tampa...his 13th year as their d-coor. Wasn't familiar with his college background...he was a player at Nebraska and later coached there and also coached at Arkansas and N.C. State. You have to believe the Tampa 2 could work in college given that Tennessee has a tradition having producing athletic and dynamic defensive players. Kiffin is an agressive recruiter...the article mentioned he tried to recruit Peyton Manning when he was at USC. He's got some big time coaches to battle with in that conference but he's at a major program and he's got some cred with his years at USC. This has a good chance of working out for both the Kiffins and the program.

I think Kiffin is going to have a tough first season. Those kids love Phil Fulmer and they will have a tough time getting used to their new daddy.
