Stopped by the big Y and picked up a 12 of Sam Adams winter lager. It was not in the cooler.
As soon as I got home I decided that I couldn't wait for that shit to chill and popped one open.
Not bad. Infact, it was pretty fukkin' tasty.
The limeys have been ridiculed for their room temp beer swilling tendencies. I remember hearing something about we colonists chilling our suds because it was such horse piss that it needed to be cold just to choke it down.
Maybe they're right.
What do you fukks think about room temp brew? I'm sure dins will drop his 2 cents worth being an official expert on things limey, beer and, fukkk pretty much everything else.
Maybe those fuggin' limeys are onto something.

I drink it straight from the bottle. Donn't give it a chance to foam up in a glass.

The temp of this stuff prolly was around low 60s. I can see how slightly cooler might be just about perfect.

At fucking last.mvscal wrote:They have no such tendency. They serve their beer cold or cellar temperature at warmest (50-60 degrees). And, yes, cellar temperature is the ideal serving temperture for ale which is what the Brits are noteworthy for. Lagers should be served a little colder.smackaholic wrote:The limeys have been ridiculed for their room temp beer swilling tendencies.
I've gone right off lager of late and have switched to ale. I must be getting old.
Incidentally, my hometown was, for a very long while, the only place in the country that could brew beer all year round thanks to our system of caves.

There you go again. Why can you not post anything without a reference to anal sex? Jesus, finally a decent thread and you drop the corn hole angle....thanks to our system of caves.
Why do you hate being straight?
