Change doesn't mean "something completely different than has ever been seen before." It means different than what exists now. In case you've forgotten, Bush is still President. Pretty hard to implement much change, except for the faces, before taking office.

I actually liked some of Bush's policies. Keeping the student loan interest tax deduction permanent works out quite nicely for me, thank you. Unfortunately, there weren't too many others I did like.
