I think Bellotti has a few years left in him, won't be stepping-down real soon. But they want to lock down Kelly and keep recruits feeling secure.

stupid is relative to who's making the claim. some think it stupid to confuse brian kelly with some obscure offensive coordinator with the same surname while the rest of the world thinks it stupid to waste time searching for irrelevant photos of sf to post on a football mb. omg, hills and water!

One word: Insecurity
Hence, all the LARGE pictures of LARGE bridges. Gotta go big on some things to compensate for shortcomings in others.

Been hearing this for at least a couple of years.

Hmmm... sounds reasonable that Coach Belittle would step down from a full time job that pays ~$1 Mil a year to take on a full time job at the same 'company' that pays what, maybe $150K?

Yeah, seems reasonable to me.

I'll believe it when I see it... been through this same rumor mill too many times.

After reading more of the local coverage, it appears to just be recruiting/politics.

A few schools were set to go hard after Kelley with the big bucks (Syracuse was the main name being thrown around). It essentially just PR to justify overpaying a coordinator.

Doesn't sound like Belittle is stepping down anytime soon, they're just keeping Dead QB Kelley.

Nothing to see here, folks.

kinda like when Bear Bryant or Tom Osborne retired.

there won't ever be any teams *faster* than Belotti's legendary Holiday Bowl teams.

I'm wondering, when Belittle finally does step down, will he sell his winter vacation home in El Paso?

Uhm... because he won't be coaching a team that plays in the Sun Bowl every freaking year anymore?

Sorry, maybe the "El Paso, home away from home" jokes only work on local Ducksfans.
