One of the classiest, most complete baseball players of
all-time hangs them up with very little pub. Baseball needs a guy like Maddux to stay in the game. He'll make a great coach.

Some guys were blessed with great arms while he was blessed with a great mind for the game and could get guys out with location and movement. Usually it is the left handers that are more control pitchers but Maddux is probably the best I've ever seen pitch that way as a right hander. He probably benefited from umps giving him a lot of the plate but he earned it with how good his command was. 17 straight years of 15+ wins is something I doubt we'll ever see again. First ballot HOF, no doubt...

Whatever he decides to wear, I'll be glad he's there. He may be my favorite player of all time. Watching him come up and then the career he had...
Rack The Professor, an absolute student of the game.
ps, how cool is it that he has one more win than the Rocket?

I'd guess that he goes in with an Atlanta uniform, but who knows?
One thing is for certain....he won't be wearing a White Sox uni.
You're right. And his World Series ring sure as hell doesn't say Chicago Cubs on it. Hopefully the Cubs will end up filing bankruptcy just like Tribune.

No, but his first Cy Young Award
does.
Right, just before your shit-eating club let him walk and win, what, four more with the Bravos?

Not likely, twatlips, not likely at all.
How long has it been? 95 years? Come back when your club is relevant in something other than overspending and underachieving.[/quote]

Psst! Hey cockbreath. You northside losers had been saying that for decades, and look what it got you!
I'll even make it easier for you. Let me know when you scumbags even get within a panty sniff of a World Series, nevertheless a ring. EAD, tard.

Please point out, in this thread, evidence that I am jealous of your underachieving, overspending and fan bandwagoning franchise. The fact you think ANY South Sider is jealous of your yuppie franchise is downright hilarious, that is why we're Sox fans in the first place, labia! Take your time and get back to me, dicklick.

I said "Usually" for a reason, dear heart.
