Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh

the Steelers are coming off two emotional wins, one a blowout and one a lucky nail-biter. They have been playing like they are in the playoffs already and I like Tomlin's approach.
The Ravens are not to be taken seriously, at least by many. Despite the fact that Pittsburgh has to amp it back up once again and should be a bit "flat," whereas the Ravens have just beat the shit out of the Bengals and Redskins (both teams struggling and going nowhere except head-to-head this weekend in a game that will blow ostrich cunts), I believe that the Steelers will win this one. I'm just looking at the Ravens and seeing a nice surprise team with a good veteran defense, but they just aren't completely there and have a loss coming up. They are facing a better version of themselves this weekend and they will get beat by the Stillers, 23-16.

A better version? So much better they went to OT when they didn't know shit about the offense in Sep. Meanwhile PIT is getting banged up, playing teams like SD and DAL to the wire. Yea, I could see how they have all the reason to smoke BAL, IN BALTIMORE given everything we know about how BAL plays them there. Solid OneBoard analysis! Don't look now fuckos, my boys are revving it up in both conferences....might play themselves into being the teams to beat in each. Fucking A baby!

The Steelers are due for a little letdown and Baltimore is a tough place to play right now.
Baltimore 15
Pittsburgh 13

The margin of victory by the Colts over the Leos will be greater than the total number of points scored in this game.

Colts win by only 10...that doesn't leave me with a lot of room for error.

What a horrible call to overturn the call on the field on the Stillers touchdown. I thought there had to be irrefutable evidence to overturn a call made on the field? You couldn't even tell if the ball broke the plane of the goal line. If the line judge would have called it a TD on the field and they couldn't determine the call through replay, I'd be fine with that. But this overturning of the call? That's almost Sirfindafold awful.
Fuck the NFL. The Ravens got screwed.

That was a bad call by the officials on the review...the sideline angle looked to me like he was just short of the goal line with the ball. The explanation during the announcement of the review made no sense...it's never been about the body position for a play to be TD. The idea that he caught the ball was never in doubt. The ball must break the plane and the ball wasn't across the plane once Holmes had control of the ball.
As for the Ravens being screwed...well, the Steelers should've had 4th down on the one inch line if the play was ruled correctly. I give them a great shot at punching it in from there but you can't be too sure. Bottom line, don't give up a 92 yard drive in the closing minutes of the game when you're protecting a lead at home and you won't be in a position like this.

If anything, I've been a good luck charm for your squad. Last week I picked Dallas to beat the living shit out of them and they got lucky, then I picked the Steelers to win and they won against the Ravens in another fluky game with a lucky call.
They are a very solid team that plays 60 minutes, but these bullshit calls and pulling rabbits out of their assholes is going to catch up with them when they play Dallas in the Super Bowl and get smoked.

That sucked ass. What's even worse is I thought it was a 10:00am start (PST), waited for both BAL and CAR to start at 1:15 and was already a couple pitchers in. What happened in the 4th quarters? LOL.

Ding!
And there is nothing funnier than watching and reading commentators who say "yea, I saw the ball over the goal line, but really it wasn't conclusive."
WTF? We have people in this country that admit what they saw but refuse to se it as conclusive? No fucking wonder the guys who beat Rodney King got off the first time around.

It did not go over the line and it was as far from conclusive as you can get. Didn't know your point of view was directly above the goal line on Holmes' catch. You must be special, Bri.
Complete fuckup by the NFL. Ref on the goal line didn't think the ball broke the plane, call goes to replay, no overwhelming visual evidence to overturn the call on the field = touchdown? What fucking bullshit.
I'm not hating on the Stillers, but that call was fucking bullshit and you know it. John Harbaugh should sue the league.

Shoalzie should have wrote:Bottom line, you just don't AWARD a team a game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of a division-clinching when there wasn't OVERWHELMING VIDEO EVIDENCE to overturn a call made on the field. If the Stillers would have scored on that 4th and inches, they would have deserved the touchdown and the game.
DING!

Define "overwhelming visual evidence"? I saw the tip of the ball cross, Walt Coleman saw the tip of the ball cross. Even Peter King says he saw the tip of the ball cross. Of course King goes to to say that he doesn't believe his lying eyes.

I could care less if you "hate" on the Steelers or not. Holmes had to have two feet down when he caught the ball and the tip of the ball needed to break the plane. Furthermore, he had to maintain control all the way through to the ground. If that is what Coleman saw in the replay booth, then that is conclusive evidence and the call should be overturned. I'd feel that way no matter who the call went for.

It looked good to me. I guess I'm biased, but it seemed like he had possession, feet set, and the ball was within the plane.
