The ultimate insult in the bastion of civilization is to be pelted with shoes. And so it is fitting that the Chimp be appropriately greeted as he sneaks his way through the land he's done his best to destroy. But as he and his minions and handlers and financiers are all exposed as outright shameless bandits and lunatics, we shall laugh purely.

Oh shit, an Arab throwing a shoe. That's the ultimate insult ?
Then why don't they just throw shoes ? Why bother with suicide bombers, hijacking planes, making human pez dispensers, burying people alive, throwing them off rooftops, stoning them, cutting off hands, etc.. ?
Just throw a shoe.
Yeah, Bush, really ruined our relationship with Arab Fundies.
It's been so cordial the past 90+ years. That's just with the U.S.
Western Civilization vs. The Shoe Throwers, well we've just gotten along peachy for centuries up until that fateful day Bush decided to invade Persia.
Do they teach history in public schools ?

it is when you have no fear of being thrown into a wood chipper 30 seconds after the first throw.

It still amazes me he had time for a second.

He is a HERO not only to the Arab world--who are thoroughly delighted with his action--but to the mealy cowed Western journalists who have been so completely neutered as to be be window dressing puppets for AIPAC etc.
He's apparently facing seven years, which is an affront to Justice (in the capital "J" sense). Regardless, he'll forever be remembered as a courageous and passionate defender of basic decency, while scum sucking parasitical criminals such as J.Paul Bremer, Rummy, and the entire PNAC ZioNazi consortium will MORE AND MORE be regarded as part of the overall crime spree that's currently playing out in the financial world.
Wake the fuck up!

The same "Arab World" that sits quietly, and says little while tourists who happen to be Jewish are tortured and killed, while journalists like Daniel Pearl and bleeding hearts like Nick Berg are beheaded.
You mean that "Arab World" ?

If you're going to indict the entire Arab world for the actions of some fanatics, perhaps you should indict all of the West for invading and destroying Iraq on false premises, etc. You see, yours is a simplistic and shallow logic. Step back...and even if you don't like the Arab world (as I don't, particularly) you'll be forced to concede that the West has consistently fucked over that region since WWI. The very idea of the 1948 forced implementation of a ZioNazi apartheid state in the heart of the Arab world is perhaps the most egregious act of geo-political criminality since the British openly forced the importation of tons of opium into the similarly colonized China in the mid-19th century. The entire premise of "Israel" is depraved and--no surprise--has resulted in an unbroken chain of violence, terror and criminality by the Zionists for its entire 60-year history. Of course the region is embittered. And it's sad indeed to see a general Arab tolerance, as you suggest, over the gruesome executions, etc., of Jews like Perle. Remember, Jews lived peacefully and productively throughout the Arab/Muslim world for many centuries before the hideous ZioNazi experiment was launched. The violence and bloodshed is entirely their responsibility--and this includes a tremendous amount of retribution still accruing in light of the concentration-like conditions currently imposed on several million Palestinians. And just like the similarly imposed colonialist subjugations of Soweto and Algiers and Viet Nam, this abomination will fall. The quicker the better.

Link ? I didn't indict the entire Arab world. Hence the quotes. The entire Arab world isn't celebrating the shoe, hasn't celebrated the execution of innocents, and doesn't celebrate when bombs targetting civilians at work, malls, on buses and planes kill.
The ones that do celebrate it, get all the press. Perhaps, because of this ZioNazi, whathamacallit you're trying to indict.
Nevertheless, YOU painted with a broad brush sir, not me. You seem to think the "ENTIRE ARAB WORLD" feels a certain way about Western influence in their world not me.
I think there are those, indeed those who tend to profit from it financially, personally, intellectually and emotionally etc.. , who appreciate Western influence if not Western military support.

Period. The End.
True enough.
HOWEVER, the U.S. went to war to uphold the sanctions of an international body (U.N.), and that ain't ... kosher.
The United States of the U.N.

No ,Tom, it's not an exaggeration to say that the ENTIRE Arab world is celebrating that act, whether openly or privately. The only group in the region who offered a perfunctory admonishment was the Kurds, who stand to gain the most from this whole catastrophe.
Babs, your tired and played out Cheney mantra of support for invading Iraq is a joke. The "evidence" was all prepared and concocted, cherry-picked and stifled, tailored to fit the predetermined plan. This is exactly the crime that got Ribbentrop and those Nazis hanged following an international tribunal--which is exactly what the Chimp 'n Cheney deserve.
