you are one who front and centered "the main pulling interest", don't get on me.

it's either OU or someone else. i won't blow the story but you know what i'm saying.

you can pull for both, ain't no big deal as long as you aren't Cicero/etc. about it.

You should root for your grad school as they are the latest whore to put out for your education.

Are you moving to Alabama to be a lawyer ?

If so, you have two strikes against you.

I've never met a lawyer... that wasn't a wishy washy prick.

Believe the Heupel wrote:Having decided that arguing with ignorant motherfuckers about overdraft fees and why their 430 credit score having ass doesn't qualify for a loan doesn't constitute a solid career path, I'm heading back to school in the Fall. Crown Heupel has a nice ring to it. Honestly, who fucking cares. Most people stick with their undergrad. Then there are fucks like me who didn't even attend the school they root for. I think you would find it very hard to switch teams.

Since you're a massive CFB honk (like everyone else on this forum), and since you'll be living there...

IMO, a "secondary rooting interest" wouldn't be out of line... since I'm guessing if you're not busy on Saturdays, you'll probably be attending some games, no?

And if you're going to go to games, it's a hell of a lot more fun when you have a dog in the fight.

In your case, it would be appropriate to root for whichever school you're going to to win out and make the MNC game against the Sooners... and should that happen, break out every scrap of OU gear you own during December, quit speaking to the new friends you make, and pretty much act the arrogant dick anytime the subject of football comes up.

You're going back to school to anhance your overall enjoyment of life, right? Getting behind your local football team seems like a pretty good short-term means to that end...

Which is all that really counts at the end of the day.

If I was in your shoes, A) I'd be bitching about how hard it is to walk in size 6 high heels, and more importantly B) I'd be getting out to the local games, hitting the tailgates with reckless abandon, and I'd be the biggest prick those folks had ever seen, should they ever have the balls to put Oregon on their OOC (well, should that happen, I'd spilt my time between being an over-the-top Quack homer, and swatting at the pigs that were flying through the air).

I recommend that you do what makes you happy.

Really ?

I must of missed it... once again.

I do remember you crying to a mod and having me banned after I kicked your ass all over the place. So much so, you had some of my posts deleted by a mod after I was banned.

You do remember that thread ???

I'll give you some time to talk to a mod about having that thread deleted.

Maybe you can tell some on the board that weren't here last year... about the "pity" thread you made for some recruit from Houston.... that turned out to be Micheal Vick Jr.

Why don't you post that thread ?

You know... the one where you wanted EVERYONE to feel sorry for some kid(OU recruit) that was SHOT.

I said the kid was a thug... knowing the neighborhood he was from in Houston (I happened to live there).

You said prove it... and I did.

Then I was banned about 10 minutes after I posted a link to the kid being involved in "Dog Fighting" and was killed for being a PUNK (the kinda kids OU has no problem having on their team) unless it gets out to the public, like it did this year on "You Tube".

Bottom Line.... Tejas and Oklahoma are "football factories".

Nothing more, nothing less.

Pssst.... one of my first "letters" as a sophomore in high school was from OU.

Unlike AP.... I had no interest.

The first letter I received was from Oregon State... and it was handed to me by my Algebra 3/4 teacher(Ms. Schmidt) during class.

Believe the Heupel wrote:1. Should my primary allegiance remain with my undergraduate school or should it switch to my postgraduate school? I did not grow up an OU fan-I became an OU fan because I went there, and I went there mainly because they gave me a shit ton of money. Said SEC school will be actually giving me three times as much (though law school tuition at said school is many multiples of what undergrad tuition at OU was in the 90s.) Since my undergrad school is more successful than the postgraduate school, is it being a frontrunner to maintain that primary allegiance?
As Killian said, I think most folks remain with their undergrad school, although the ultimate decision is up to you.
2. Am I required to believe things like "USC would be lucky to win three games in the SEC" and "Vanderbilt would win the ACC most years?"
I don't know of any rule to that effect. But given the overwhelming propensity of SEC fan to believe such things, there might be something in the water down there that will influence you in that direction.
3. Fight songs with more than four different words-am I really expected to memorize them?;)
Dunno, we might need to ask SECBSH.
4. Setting aside the question of supremacy, am I allowed to root for both universities?
Yes. Full disclosure: I attended law school at a university which has no football team, but which has a basketball team which is (or more correctly, was until relatively recently) modestly successful. I tend to root for them in addition to ND, although ND comes first. Then again, basketball isn't quite the same as football, so perhaps that's not an entirely fair comparison.

As long as you have attended the schools or go to the ballgames it is not a crown or jsc move.

Front running Duke b-ball even though you went to FSU, is fucking retarded. It would be understandable if FSU didnt have a B-Ball team which how it has been managed the past two decades they might as well not have one.

Has it really been that much worse the past two decades than it was before that? Hell, I'm pretty sure I didn't even know Florida State had a basketball team until about two decades ago.

Came close to beating UCLA in the championship game in 72. 81-76. That is the one highlight with the charlie ward years being a runner-up.
