Gus Malzhan to Auburn as OC

the spread worked so great with the AU personnel last time around, let's do it again with a 5-19 HC?
stated plainly, this doesn't make much sense.
now, i think we all know the "spread" can be a talent equalizer.....but, unless Aubie pulls some Juco QB....how is this rolling nails in Auburn.
Jacobs was such a moron, after having some cred at Troy.

They'll have to be way more patient with Malzahn than when they fucked-over Franklin. As Crimson said they need to find a qb pronto, or this Malzahn's O will falter like Franklin's did. But if Auburn is realistic in their early expectations I think this is a good start for Chizik, who needs all the help he can get.

Gotta admit - Malzhan had Arkansas clocking along pretty good, and they say he is very good at adapting to the players he's got.
It's "sort" of a spread he likes to run, but he still likes to go 50/50 run/pass "so they say".....

he likes a wide open passing attack and never got to run that at Arky because of Jones and McFadden.
they were just so good running the ball Nutt never let him fully run his offense and you can't really blame him.
but at Tulsa, he took a group of pedestrian players and made stars out of them.
he will tear shit up at AU!
give him 2 years.
