That's right. The Owls are about to get their comeuppance tonight in their own crib. Sure, it's gonna be a shootout...in WMU's favor. Who the hell have you guys beat this season, as in halfway decent opponents? Army? Tulane? SMU? Cougar High? Give me a break. While both offenses are excellent, the difference will be the WMU defense stomping your skulls into the Reliant Stadium turf and spitting on you to emphasize the point. Hiller is going to have 400 yards tonight and the Bronco defense will bend and not break.
Prediction: WMU 41, Rice 30.

I'm kind of surprised. Last time we heard from DB he was crying in his OE 40 and threatening to off himself after McCain lost the Commonwealth of PA to Obama. I actually thought he did it.

Yeah, too bad I didn't pull out the computer while at my mom's new house in Northern NM we could have done the usual sig bet.
As for the game itself, huge props to the Owls. First bowl win since a Cotton win in the 50's and first 10 win season since '49. Not much you can say about the offense, cause most people expected it. 2 more TD passes between Dillard and Clement, although 1 was "backwards."
Huge freakin props to the Owl defense. WMU came in with the 24th ranked offense in the country and the top passer in the MAC. 19 of 42 and 2 INTs later the game is over and not really close.
Watched the game at a bar in Angel Fire NM and by the end had 90% of the bar pulling for RICE. I'll post a few of the pics of the snow, house, and bowl party in the next few days after this trip to the land of wind chimes is done.
