Easy Frisco, it's helping them score points.
The sooner they score, the sooner they don't have to hear that band.
It's not going to end well for Okie State, but they are getting off early.

Okies are looking better than I expected for sure. 4th and 3 this early and going for it? And the Okies "shitty" defense stopped them? Hmm...not looking good for a Pac1 team.

By the way, the band playing during the playclock is bsh league. A&M band actually did tht one this year. Can't remember which game off hand. In any case, I was sickened to hear that they were "ordered" to do it from the band major or whatever the fuck they call the person who leads the band. And the Aggie band was rightfully crucified on the homer boards for once.

Nice PI no call in the end zone on Bryant. Okies just called TO. I'm thinking this may get overturned. Looks like he had posession in the end zone before the ball was stripped. We'll see after commercial.

I don't think the players are paying attention to the bands.
Okie State is looking good now.
We'll see how long it lasts.

I don't think the players are dancing or singing along with the bands but it definitely affects their hearing and playcalling. Not illegal. Just bush league.
Nice make-up call on the PI on Dez.

Not if Oregon plays like they're on Lemon 714's.

Fedora's still the OC, right?
no, Fedora took the HC job at Southern Miss last year. It's Gundy and some other guy this year.

LeGarrette Blount. Game befitting of his name. Big freaking beast of a brotha from the South with the name LeGarrette Blount. Freaking awesome.

Be interesting to see how the Pac 10 finishes the bowel season after suffering through such a down year.....as per the conference homers whose teams have lost to them....

Once Bryant was hurt they were screwed. He is a difference-maker. Didn't help that Okie Light got the typical Holiday officiating. But OSU losing this one isn't a shocker. Oregon is a team that has won big games, OSU hasn't.

In a game of swiss cheese defense, O's swiss cheese had smaller holes.
Fun game. Fun opponent.
The seniors all showed up bigtime.
10-3 with a ragtag QB lineup. Masoli stepped right the hell up, and got it done.
Max Unger will be missed.
RACK the Cowboys. Takes two to have a fun game.
RACK the Ducks.

Like I said...
Dez returned, but he was hobbling all over the field. As the announcers said, for the most part, he was a decoy. Once he was done, so was the OSU offense.
Gotta give props to the Ducks though on buttfucking Robinson in the mouth. Gotta give props to Robinson for continually picking himself up off the mat and asking for more. Helluva fun game to watch. Better than a 3-2 SEC game for damn sure...

Jeremiah Masoli.
JuCo guy. In the void left by Dennis Dixon, the beginning of the season was a QB clusterfuck. Nate Costa was the alleged starter, but went down before the season started. Justin Roper got hurt, too. Things were looking pretty bad.
Then, Masoli rose from the ashes, and won a couple of PAC10 Offensive Player Of The Week awards. Had 2 passing TDs and 3 rushing against Zona.
Looks like he'll be getting the nod next season, although it will be time for Darren Thomas to start taking lots of snaps.
With OC Chip Kelley signing a big fat deal to take Bellotti's place (imagine that, a PAC team actually paying a coordinator... he's in 7-digits next season, but every bigtime program with a HC opening was going to come with checkbooks a'blazin if they didn't), it will be nice to have some stability within the coaching ranks. Sure, Alioti found his way back home, but he's aggrivating -- looks absolutely genius one week, convinces even the casual fans that they could do a better job than him the next week. But when he's on, he's on, and like last night, occasionally outschemes someone, which keeps his job safe for another year... so he can aggrivate us some more.
Gonna take some huge losses, particularly at both O and D lines. But, welcome to CFB. I'm fairly certain every other team is losing some guys to graduation (except Boise State... damn), and recruiting has been going well, so hopefully the cannon will be well-loaded.
Having a center (this season, Max Unger played OT in previous years) that played the game at a near-perfect level every game for 4 years didn't suck, and is going to be very hard to replace.
But all in all... no QB... nothing but question marks on the season...
10 wins. We'll take it.

The way Masoli finished the season, Roper and Costa are probably starting to eyeball that starting QB opening at Montana.
