Why are some mics in red?

A few posters have their nics in bright red.
Why?
It's not an on line thing, or mod thing, as their are blue nic mods.
It is a special platinum membership thing, or maybe denotes being HIV positive?
Can I be red too?

I just noticed the typo in the title. I know it's a typo because whenever I type mics there's an adjective attached. Usually "drunken"

Don't step to me PUS. You want a piece of me, you better bring atleast 3 truck loads full of messicans. Not the single truck load you had take out the crew.
