They lost to an 9-4 team on the road on a Thursday night.
The only 1 loss teams that didnt lose to a "shit" conference opponent would be OU, Texas, Alabama and Texas Tech
Florida lost to a "shit" conference team at home and theyre going to win the national title, but i dont think they would beat USC.

Im sure there wasnt much jetlag but when a team travels the day of the game, even if it is just 3 hours of travel, it takes them out of their routine, they arent staying the night before the game in the hotel they dont do a walk through the morning before the game in the stadium. They wake up, go to class meet at 1:30 PM and then board a bus then a plane then another bus... if it wasnt a big deal why do so few teams win Thursday Night road games while classes are in session? Hopefully Garrett will tell whatever team asks them to play a Thursday night roadie next year to fuck off, if they want national coverage, go for the saturday night slot.

What are you all bitter for, didnt Notre Dame finally win a Bowl Game? the first bowl game the High school kids you coach remember the Irish winning.

Not saying that the loss should have been wiped from the record but Floridas loss at home to an even shittier team than Oregon State and later in the season should have knocked them out of title contention as well.
The title game, under the current shitty system, should be OU and Texas even though Florida is going to boat race the Sooners next week and win the title

Anyone notice that Joe Pa went for 1 trailing 31-13 early in the forth when 2 would've made it a two score game? Then settled for 3 when trailing 38-14? Then didn't onside kick when it was 38-24 with 4 min to go? I know it was a long shot for PSU at each of those moments but
