Now that Molson is owned by Coors...so much for that.

No more 'I am Canadian' written on the boards of the rinks, no more 30 commercials during HNIC. No more anything.

It makes one wonder if they're even going to drop the Canadian brand.

So what's the new slogan?

"I be fuggin hammered, man".

Looks like I'll stop drinking Molson products again. Once Molson became 100% Canadian owned, I started drinking a shit load of Canadian in King Cans.

Back to Moosehead for me.

I heard that Kokanee is really just a molson recipe. They just throw on a different label & cap, and call it a "small brew".

I heard the same thing with 'Laurantide' and 'Canadian'. After all, a beer called 'Canadian' would do shitty sales anywhere other than the Pontiac Region in Quebec.

Man, I'm minutes from the Quebec border. They have the strangest array of beers. Some of the cottage brews are bizarre.

Licourice, Hobgoblin, Dandelion & Honey. Mix-a-six of these, and no one is touching them at the party.

One even has a fucking gherkin sitting at the bottom of each bottle.

Molson, Labatts and Kokanne are all watery shit beer. Micro breweries are the only beers worth drinking

I disagree. I'd rather know what I'm getting when I pick up a case at the store. With the microbreweries, it's hit and miss. If you find one you like, good on you, but don't forget what it is!!

Amen. I've got several cans of Canadian in the fridge. It's good. Better yet, I get it cheaper than you boys up there! And so what if Coors now owns Molson. Big whoop. It's still brewed there.
