Picked up some wind turbine(CPTC.OB) and solar(SPIR) stock on Friday hoping for some Obama alternative energy love in his speech today...no dice.Watching the 15 minute chart of the Dow right after Barry finished was a red candle nightmare.

One of the really good traders from a board I follow has a Blog -
http://nav-ta.blogspot.com/2009/02/st-bottom.html
He thinks this test of the November lows is complete and we're headed back up - however it's just an itermediate trend change and not a final bottom.

Well he was off by a week on his bottom prediction but thats neither here nor there. Can we hold 6700 or down further? Oversold conditions. I was tellling my wife on Tuesday that this feels like November all over again.
Id like to say we rally over the next month abck to 7800, but the market is sure bearish feeling.
BTW I made 5% on the CPTC trade and about 7.5% on the spir trade. I missed out on SPIR's big run to 7+ :x
Trying again on SPIR(5.00) and also a oversold bounce play on CPST(.45)...I guessed too early on and got in at .53 :x

Yea - the new target is 5,500 for some of the traders on that board.
Yikes -
I'm OK, but a lot of people are totally fucked. This market wont be back to 2008 levels for 7-10 years now.

Prediction --
The markets will fall again over the next two+ months and test the March 2009 low -- Dow 6547 -- then in late summer/early fall the markets will rise, and fairly quickly -- Dow to around 10,000 in Feb or March of 2010 -- then the bottom falls out, serious inflation begins to rear it's ugly head, the dollar craters -- the markets fall again -- Dow to around 7,000 by summer of 2010.
Then it'll VERY SLOWLY rise from that point.
Dow at 14,000 won't happen again for at least 5-7 years.
Terror attack on our soil could send this take to the shitcan, btw -- and that might happen, imo.
