Dead Man's Shoes

Post by Dr_Phibes »

It's nice to think that as T1Bers, the one thing we all have in common is that we're all jaded, street smart, tough as nails ex-military men with a penchant for violence.. so I recommend the film 'Dead Man's Shoes'.

From 2006, written by and starring Paddy Considine, guaranteed cult classic. (and yes - 'this is England' was pretty shit)

This small budget gem tells the tale of a dis-charged paratrooper who returns home to Derby, not in the best of moods. Extremely violent without being gratuitous, the tension builds to breaking point and the end is a complete mind fuck.

Here is a short clip, word of warning though, after watching - you'll instantly go looking for fights:

It was like watching a Guy Ritchie movie filmed on a cellphone.

Never do that again.
