Posted this here instead of the music forum...one hell of a piano player and rock and roller..and drinker,dope smoker, wife beater, and general all round redneck..Steve Gaines is the only original left...

Great fucking band, and great fucking song. Even the vid does not suck, even though it's sans Ronnie Van Zant. You can actually see the horn section.

Huh? He and Ronnie were among the casualties of the 1977 plane crash.

RIP Billy. I lived in Jacksonville for a time in the late 80's -- early 90's and Skynyrd was huge there even at that time.

Gaines wasn't an original member anyway.
My bad all the way around...I meant Gary Rossington anyway...I still have my Rossington Collins album..

I got some video of Billy pounding the piano at a concert this last summer..
