How'd that taste?

Probably tasted the same as the last 10 times we ass raped the perennial basketball power from up North. Wait a minute....Missouri has not be relevant in basketball since the 80's.
Nice win. This is the worst Texas team that Rick Barnes has had at Texas. We cannot shoot and do not have a true point guard. We will still make the tournament and will win 22 games. For most teams that is a great year...like Quin Snyder would have died for this much suckage in a season. For us, down year. Get your licks in now because it will not happen next year...or the year after that....and next thing you know it will be 10 years again before you have a chance to come close to beating us. BTW....Tyus Edney called

i'd say Barnes worst team was the one with buckman as principle scorer and daniel gibson's FR year. i think you guys lose to Nevada in the NCAA. is that the same year? i guess that would be the year before lamarcus aldridge?

That was 2004. We lost TJ Ford. It was a tough year. We are hurting because DJ went pro. No point guard and no outside shooters except for Abrams. Next year looks good with the #2 class coming in and Jai Lucas taking over the point.

What a bag of sh*t that kid is. I can't wait for Willie to drop the dice in his mouth. I mean, assuming, of course, that Willie stays... (He will. He wants to show what he can do with HIS team, not someone else's.)

even if Ford comes back (an impossibility, that you even mention it is weird), that team is struggling to score points. i watched Gibson get OWNED by Marcus Hall and Dominique Coleman from Colorado in person in Boulder. and Gibson whined the whole second half, and pouted. spiked the ball off the scorers table.
Buckman had like 25 points and 22 boards in that game. no helping cast.

You lost at Mizzou last year and will again next year. And it's not true they haven't been "relevant" (whatever the fuck that means) since the 80's. But yes, it's been awhile since this Tigerfan had any reason to celebrate, other than our yearly beatdown of Kansas (which is next Monday, btw). Norm's last win was at Texas, 10 years ago.
Nice win.
sniff... thanks, Harv. I appreciate the bone.

I think you and Indy Fellatio just found some common ground.

See, in my case, it doesn't cause physical pain.

There are times when one just bows to the adversary. Normally, this is done by simply not replying... but when an exemplary short and succinct blast like that is drawn out, it deserves recognition and the only thing left to say is:
Rack.

Hey, we'll cash in on this thread!
NU 58- UT 55.
I hope Matt Hill enjoyed his view from the bench. That glory hound could actually get some court time if he'd have played for his home team state.
Nice move Mr. Irrelevant.

When was the last time NU beat Texas in Basketball? I am thinking when Eric Piakowski was there. Please explain to me the need to storm the court after you beat a team that is 15-7?

Nebraska defeated Texas for the first time in eight meetings, with the last victory coming in a 80-67 win in Lincoln in 2001. That year, Texas came into the Devaney Center ranked No. 22 in the country.
I am thinking when Eric Piakowski was there.
Eric Piakowski =1991-1994.
NU beat Texas 79-67 on 2-16-95; no Piakowski. Tyrone Lue was on that team.

*- The Cornhuskers’ win over No. 16/17 Texas was their first this season over a
ranked team. Ranked being the key word. Obviously over rated.
Hey, when basketball sucked for so long under Collier you can't blame the fans for the enthusiasum.

Whom also helped beat Mizzou a time or two and if IIRC, NU stole from right out our backyard. Mexico or Lebanon, Mo. I believe.
Fuckers. I hated that guy.

He was from Mexico MO. Danny Nee could recruit. His coaching was another thing.
Lue, Tyronn– 1998 All-Big 12 pick who ranks seventh in career scoring at Nebraska
and is tied for the school record with seven 30-point games. A first-round NBA draft pick
in 1998.

He was decent in the NBA for a few years. Excellent outside shooter.

Nebraska may never have won an NCAA game, but they most certainly have the Big XII record for players named "Cookie".
